like how stable this tripod given it’s a very light camera tripod. I use it with a 70-200 lens and a heavy body on it and it’s still stable even when used at its tallest configuration. Another important feature for me is that when you fold it, unlike many others it fits in your backpack and you won’t have to carry an additional bag.

I needed a tripod I could fit a camcorder-size device on top of, yet with minimal room, I knew I'd still have to wedge it into the corner of the room, in and around other electronics. This tripod is working perfectly, as the legs adjust out to nearly perpendicular, and at a variety of heights. Other tripods I've had like this are always missing something, like a bubble/level, but this one has that too! It also breaks down to an extremely compact size for transport. Exactly what I was looking for!

purchased this tripod to replace an older, cheaper model. While I'm still learning the new tripod, I've found the following: lightweight frame, ease of set up and I especially like the ball head. I like that the legs can be opened to one of three settings, allowing for increased viewing angles. I also like that it can be extended up to a bit more than 6 feet. It comes with a carrying case and it can be converted to a monopod, tools included. I've not tried to do this conversion, as I already had a monopod.

I'm just starting out in photography myself and have a lot of tripods, all of which are basically pretty cheap. I bought this one hoping it was professional level and I might be happier. This baby is solid. I don't know much about tripods but this is the very first tripod that I find very professional. I'm sure there are much better ones out there but at my level this is the best I've ever had. For reference only, I am 52 years old.

It took me a bit to get oriented to how to use this tripod as it works a little differently to the usual "standard" tripods I've had in the past, especially in regard to unfolding the legs. The design allows it to fold up really compact for how tall of a tripod it is and it feels solid. My only complaint is that there is no quick release function to snap the camera into the tripod, you have to manually screw and unscrew the quick attach bracket on the bottom of the camera in and out of the tripod to take it on and off. I wish it just had the usual lever to lock it in and out of the tripod, but otherwise it's a great tripod.

Pros: clip-lock extensions on the legs are firm and hold heavy loads; light weight; perfect for traveling.Cons: weight of a rig can sometimes fall even when the ball head is tight. don't forget to tighten more than you think you need to.
