I upgraded from a basic Manfrotto to the K&F tripod because I was looking for more versatility. While this tripod requires more thoughtful / time consuming set up, the number of positions and configurations it allows for is much greater than other basic tripod for the same price. The orange accents of the aluminum knobs add a very professional look & feel to the rig. It took some practice to figure out how to use all the different functionality (e.g. to fold the tripod down at the large orange ball, pull the bar all the way up first, and then fold downward), but all in all I’m very happy with this purchase. I started thinking of new film shoots (smooth up-down, smooth circular motion, and lower angles ones) I will do on my next project.

Je suis satisfaite du produit et de la livraison. Par contre, je n'ai pas reçu le fameux sac noir qui est sensé protéger la tête du trépied. Je trouve ca dommage.

This is one of the most versatile tripods I've used. There are a lot of options for configuring it, from the normal straight up position, to the inverted position (great for macro and close-up photography!). The top section can be positioned at a 90 angle to the main shaft, with a ball in the center, so my camera can be rotated 360 degrees at the end of the arm - this is great for video when I want a nice, smooth pan. Its also great for taking panoramic photos- my camera lines up on the top of tripod and rotates around it, so I can get nice, level shots which are better for stitching into panoramas. One leg is detachable, for use as a monopod, and unlike other ones I've tried, this one actually comes on and off easily!Overall the design is wonderful. The tripod is very lightweight, and it comes in a very rugged carry bag too.I'm quite pleased with this tripod and have already gotten some very good use out of it!

This tripod is really well designed. It has a lot of versatility and it’s relatively lightweight but it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all. It can extend higher than any other tripod I own which wins big points with me and its easy to set up and fold back up, it only takes seconds to set up and put away once you get the hang of it. All of the joints clamp down nice and tight and stay that way until you loosen them. I particularly like the fact that you can set it up so the bar sits parallel to the ground, it’s perfect for shooting panorama. This tripod looks really cool too. It also comes with a padded carrying bag that zips closed and has handles so it’s easy to carry around and it doesn’t get dinged up.

Este tripode es de muy buena calidad, soporta bien el peso de la cámara lo que me da tranquilidad, es funcional por la variedad de ajustes que permite realizar para las tomas, es resistente pero a su vez es liviano. Lo recomiendo.

I would say this is the nicest tripod I currently own (and also the most expensive). I am more of a hobbyist than a professional. This comes in a nicely padded carrying bag. The bag has large metal zippers and a nylon zipper. It open wide to make removal or replacement of the tripod easy. There are no interior or exterior pockets. There is also an adjustable strap so you can carry over your shoulder. The included instruction manual is pretty basic. There is also an included hex key. I would say if you want to keep this with the tripod you can use some Velcro ties to strap to one of the legs.I like the height of the monopod at full extension. When I place the ball head on top of this & then my camera, I don't need to bend over at all (I am about 6'2"). If I don't use the head then I need to just slightly bend over when using the view finder. There is also a padded grip in this leg. You can also use this as a hiking stick. The legs have a few angles of adjustment. The bottom rubber feet are removable. This does not come with different feet so if you want spikes for example for use in dirt / sand you will need to purchase those as none are included. At full height this will tower over a crowd. There is also a hook where you can hang your backpack or weights to help keep this more stable. You can unscrew this so you can then reverse the center shaft to use as a low or macro tripod. The head is dampened so when rotating you can get a smooth effect if shooting video. You need to be a little careful as the head can unscrew when rotating if you don't have the lock screw loose. This is also my first tripod where you can bring the arm over to shoot off to the side of the tripod. This is really nice being able to stand next to the tripod instead of behind it in some instances. There is a bubble level on the top of the head. The camera mount does not use the snap quick release which in nice as it does not wiggle & feels more secure when you have the knob tightened. You can purchase additional shoes for this tripod.I don't find this tripod to be too heavy for my use & do find it to be very versatile & am so far very happy with this tripod.
