I have a small carbon fiber tripod that I like to take with me on most trips, but wanted to use it for home, around town and mountain trips. There are several features that I love about this tripod and that makes it unique even though I already own two other tripods.
First of all I'm 1.85m tall so I love that this tripod can be extended well beyond my height. I plan to use it even for unique overhead shots as I can trigger my shutter with an app (I usually use a Sony A7RIII.. a Canon 5D Mark III is in the photo).
Secondly, the monopod function is fantastic. You just unscrew one leg and that's where the bar attaches to the head and you screw it together. I wanted a monopod that could support some weight and this fills that need.
Third, and the main reason I wanted it, is that it can be used for overhead shooting (my attached photo has a quick example of how this works... sorry for the old iPhone image quality). I occasionally review tech gear for Youtube so my iPhone or Canon can be used for overhead shots while I use the Sony for head-on video on one of my less capable tripods.
I think the only thing I don't know right now is how well it will work, but I'll update it if I have problems. I would also like to note that my girlfriend liked the look. I think the orange parts of the tripod are attractive compared to the typical all black designs on my other tripods.
All in all, this fulfills so many needs for my regular home use that my travel tripod can usually just be left in my pocket.

I do some social media content which involves making video clips both inside and outside. I had cheap tripods and selfie sticks before buying this. Great quality and love how high this goes to take pictures above content. Highly recommend, make the purchase.

This tripod is very light for its size. It is extremely stable. It had no issues supporting my camera with 100-200mm + 2.0X converter on it. It is very easy to use and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of this product. I am very happy with this purchase.

Hello dear buyer, my current rating is not a rating for professionals. I bought an expensive tripod based on the "higher price - better quality" logic. And I was not disappointed. I'm perfectly satisfied. Sincerely Nicolas E.

The tripod is compact and lightweight. The mount is plastic which is a shame it would have been nice to have a metal one.
The camera movement is nice and smooth and it has a lot of position. The legs are strong and sturdy. It needs a counterweight when using the overhead and the hook for one isn't the best.
Pros
Nice build quality
easy to adust lefts and head.
smooth glide.
light-weight
Cons
plastic camera mount
tips easy when using the overhead.
Overall a nice tripod with a few bits that could be improved to make it prefect.

After purchasing our first kf concept tripod we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the materials, the solidity and the value for money. So we decided to renew the tripods in our studio. As soon as we bought it we put it to the test with two sets of studios and it proved to be as good as we expected!
In the box we find our tripod , carrying bag , always useful in case of travel where you need to bring a studio tripod , and ... .
The tripod is very compact, when closed it measures only 40cm, which makes it ideal to be transported on photographic trips and long journeys, its lightness makes it easy to carry and to put in a luggage in case of air travel. Fully extended it reaches a height of 154 cm and thanks to its 5 sections it can be adjusted with good precision. The 5 section extenders are screw fasteners, we usually tend to prefer the hook fasteners but these have proved to be very practical, just take them all together with one hand and in one movement they can all be unscrewed, great for those who need to extend the tripod quickly. As in many tripods you have the possibility to unhook one of the legs and make it become a monopod, very quick on this tripod but the fixing system is really good and the grip on the unscrewing pod makes it very comfortable to use.
Let's move on to the ball head, which allows excellent flexibility in shooting, reaching any desired angle and being able to rotate 360°. The base of the head in turn has the possibility of having a fluid 360° rotation, useful both for panoramas and for videos, where the graduated scale at its base becomes very convenient. The release plate is good, even if it is made of plastic. But we come to the real highlight of this tripod, the transverse column, is in fact the main reason why we bought this tripod, the ability to move from the area where the feet of the tripod would be in the view and shoot perpendicularly downwards. Good extension, allows you to work easily with vertical shots on many surfaces, tables, floors, as well as to shoot from elevated ledges without risking the equipment or having to lean out personally, also great when you shoot by reversing the tripod in order to reach perspectives otherwise impossible.
PRO
Transverse column
Ball head
Lightness
Compactness
COUNTER Nothing major, the lightness means it's counterbalanced if you're outdoors or shooting with heavy equipment but that's even with high end and much more expensive tripods
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND
This tripod at a very affordable price point is definitely one of the best if not the best on the market, complete with every feature a tripod should have in 2019 it offers everything at a hyper competitive price, the quality is great and the tripod passed our tests with flying colours, obviously all in relation to the price. Excellent alternative to much more expensive tripods, recommended for amateur and professional photographers but also for those who want a tripod that can be used to make videos on youtube, even for unboxing and overhead shots!

This tripod is a beast! Whilst it may not have the name "Manfrotto" or "3 Legged Thing" all over it, it is more than capable for it's price point!
Having switched to this from a similarly priced Manfrotto, albeit a much smaller tripod I am initially surprised with the similarly in quality.
Whilst the Manfrotto feels ever so slightly more refined, the K&F blows it out the park with height, versatility and ease of use!
I always found the Manfrotto locking mechanisms very small, fidgety and likely to give me small blisters from repeated adjustment. Whereas the K&F model has comfortably sized levers/screws.
The ability to dettach one leg and use it as a monopod is an excellent addition and the additional grip on this leg is nicely positioned and very comfortable.
The ability to move the main central point to a over the top arm for top down/lay flat is amazing! This creates much more potential, and having all this in ONE tripod is a bonus.
Overall this tripod feels very well built and feels like it will stand the test of time!
There are only three cons I can find!
- The included bag is not the greatest of materials and the added shoulder strap has plastic vs metal clips. However if your dedicated camera bag has space for a tripod this isn't an issue.
- The twist locks on each leg are plastic, however they do feel very strong and not flimsy at all. Being used to aluminium locks on the Manfrotto tripod I noticed this immediately.
- The springs that hold ratchet locks on each leg tight are a little flimsy, again being used to a different mechanism on the Manfrotto this bares no effect on quality and durability. If anything they are actually easier to release as the spring isn't extremely stiff!
Who would I recommend this to?
Anyone! This tripod is capable of meeting the needs of all photographers at all levels in my opinion! Whilst it may not be as rugged as some higher end brands, the fact remains that it is of very high quality and packed full of features. 10/10 for me.

This is the tallest tripod I've found! The tripod is solid! The price is very good for the size, robustness and features it offers. The bag it came with to carry it is solid too! It's light enough to take with you anywhere, yet sturdy enough that I wouldn't be nervous about setting my DSLR on it. Another great feature is that it has a hook to attach something heavy. This also improves the stability of the tripod by adding weight when needed. I could hang my camera backpack there and it would work well to hold the bag and keep it stable. I've had more than my fair share of clueless people choosing to standing right in front of my camera so that I can get a nice shot of the back of their head, for example, when I'm shooting videos of, for example, a band or entertainment on a stage. This will fix that issue as at its max height it is much taller than an average German. So yay! The price is also great for what you get! Thumbs up!
(PS: I plan to take some Christmas photos around Christmas time.)

I didn’t realize that tripods could be so expensive, but I guess it’s one of those items that speak true of you get what you pay for! A cheap camera tripod that we just purchased a couple of years ago recently broke, so we decided to invest in a heavy-duty professional tripod. One that would be durable enough to last us for years to come and be able to hold our camcorder and also be compatible with our mirrorless camera and a DSLR camera in case we decide to get one in the future. We wanted to get a reliable tripod in time to capture footage to see the Neowise Comet which only orbits the sun every 7000 years, so it’s a once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately it was too hazy and there were too many clouds the two times that we drove out to the mountains, but this tripod held up like a champ in the 50 degree Fahrenheit cold weather and windy conditions. The instructions say not to use this in temperatures below minus 40 degrees or higher than 100 degrees. The tripod is made of sturdy aluminum alloy tubes. The KF-28 metal ball head provides a maximum load capacity of 22 pounds and can be rotated 360 degrees which can easily hold a heavy DSLR camera and makes for excellent panoramic shooting. Make sure not to exceed the maximum specified load. This tripod is easy to set up simply by flipping the legs the opposite way and using the clamps to secure in place. There are four (4) leg sections and the knob allows you to adjust the height. The height with the two (2) center sections column can be extended to 93.8 inches which is pretty tall and makes it good for taking large group photos from an overview vantage point. The height without the column reaches 67.7 inches. There is also a detachable lightweight monopod that can extend to 98.4 inches for your different photography needs. For panoramic shots, the central column moves from 0 to 180 degrees and can be rotated 360 degrees horizontally. This also comes with a nice, durable carrying case to keep your tripod protected and makes it portable for travel. The case also has a strap that you can use to carry on your shoulder for better convenience. My only gripe is the weight. Since this is so heavy duty, this weighs a little over six (6) pounds which is heavier than most tripods, but this is definitely the nicest tripod we’ve owned and you can tell from the high quality and detail. When my husband uses it to take footage with our camcorder, it is very stable and I’m sure this will last us for many years!
