I have a small carbon fibre tripod that I like to take on most trips, but wanted this for use at home, in town, and for trips to the mountains. There are several features I love about this tripod and it makes it unique even though I already own two other tripods.First off, I am 6'5, so I love the fact that this tripod can be taken out far past my height. I plan to even use it for uniques shots from above since I can trigger my shutter with an app (I normally use a Sony A7RIII..a Canon 5D Mark III is in the photo).Secondly, the monopod feature is awesome. You just unscrew a leg and where the pole with the head attaches and you screw them together. I have wanted a monopod that could handle some weight and this fills that need.Thirdly, and the main reason I wanted it, is that it can be used for overhead shots (my attached photo has a quick example of how that works..sorry for the old iPhone pic quality). I review tech equipment on occasion for Youtube and this allows my iPhone or Canon to be used for overhead shots, while I use the Sony for front facing video on one of my less capable tripods.I guess the only thing I don't know now is how well it will hold up, but I will update if I have any issues. I also want to note that my girlfriend liked the looks of it. I guess the orange parts of the tripod are attractive compared to the typical all black stylings of my other tripods. All in all, this fills so many needs for my normal home use that my travel tripod can typically just stay in the case.

I was looking for a tripod for my SLR camera, which was not too big, so that when folded I could carry it in my backpack.

This was recommended to me, and I am delighted with it.

It adapts perfectly to any type of camera, which I liked.

I pick it up in a moment and easily, it has good quality materials and it comes with its protective cover, which is quite good by the way.

I can adjust it to the height I want. At the top it has a ball joint that allows you to make any movement with the camera, as can be seen in the photos.

I also want to highlight that it barely weighs, it is very light and stable, it gives security when putting my camera on it.

The materials are of good quality, everything is designed and thought to the millimeter to get the most out of it.

Aesthetically it is black, with orange details, which makes it attractive.

For the quality it has, it has not seemed expensive at all compared to others on the market, without a doubt it has been a good purchase.

This really is a good quality tripod! It’s durable, easy to pack/travel with, and it’s easy to switch functions. I definitely recommend if you are looking to buy a tripod that you wont have to replace for a while.

This is the most adjustable tripod I've ever seen.

First of all, it is extremely large. I'm 6'1" and when it's fully inserted I can't reach the camera button to take a picture. If I wanted to do a crane shot with everything I have on hand, I would use that.

The monopod feels a bit fiddly, but if I had just enough room to carry one (pod?) with me and felt like I might need a tripod or monopod, that's really the only thing I've seen , which can be both.

It has a 90 degree articulation so I can shoot those product shots from top to bottom and it even comes with a ball mount so I don't have to attach my own head. Speaking of the ball mount, it has great smooth movement. So if I wanted to (and you have enough steady hands) I could use it as a stable axis for pan and tilt motion shots.

In addition, the legs are spread wide, so not only can I take extremely high shots, but I can also use it as a very low tripod, keeping the camera inches off the ground. The 90-degree elbow arm even lets me hold the camera sideways and upside down, with the ball mount keeping it almost at ground level.

The legs work pretty well. I've used smoother motion legs, but they're not bad.

It is light and with the bag it is easy to carry.

The only thing we still have to talk about is the robustness. I would describe it as mostly robust. I would trust it to hold my camera but on a windy day there will be movement in the shot. I can feel it wiggling a bit, and it's even more when it's fully extended. If I were going to use it for long exposure, I'd want to throw some sandbags on the hook.

Overall a great tripod for those looking for an all in 1 solution.

We recommend.

This is my first ball head tripod and I’m impressed so far, used it with Sony A7R2 + 90mm macro lens with mounting ring. The tripod keeps the camera well in place, very stable with central column in horizontal position and camera facing down. Accurate height adjustment. Well built with quality materials. It could be a bit lighter. I like that it is short when folded. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

thumb release to remove the camera from the tripod would be easier that the screw release.
