EDITED to add customer service follow-up:I contacted the manufacturer and after reviewing the photos, they sent a pair of replacement legs. After replacement, the tripod is fully functional again. In light of this - I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought this tripod in August 2022. In January, two of the tripod legs detached. It looks like a bad adhesive job, but as a tripod, this is not acceptable quality.
Not useful when two of the legs fall off (EDITED to 4 Stars after customer support) Not useful when two of the legs fall off (EDITED to 4 Stars after customer support) Not useful when two of the legs fall off (EDITED to 4 Stars after customer support) Not useful when two of the legs fall off (EDITED to 4 Stars after customer support) Not useful when two of the legs fall off (EDITED to 4 Stars after customer support)

I'm 6'4" tall and this is a great tripod for someone my height. With the legs fully extended and the center column completely collapsed, combined with the included ball mount, it sets my camera at just about perfect eye height for me, maybe slightly taller. As you can see in the photos, with the center columns raised to their max, it is way over my head. The tripod is pretty stable, and medium heavy. But it is probably more stable than just about any other tripod for the height, since I can rely on only extending the legs and leaving the center columns down. The legs have 3 extension pieces, and 3 positions for spreading, just in case you are on uneven ground or need some extra stability. One complaint I have has to do with the included ball head mount. The locking mechanism for the ball head is on the right side, relative to the u slot that allows for aiming upwards beyond the normal range of the ball head. This means that if you need to make an adjustment to the camera when using the u-slot, you have to awkwardly reach across with your left hand, or reach all the way around with your left hand, as you have to use your right hand to hold the camera steady as you adjust the locking mechanism. The other option is to hold the camera with your left hand, but this causes you to have to hold the camera by the lens or awkwardly by the body. The other thing I don't like is that you have to remove the hook at the bottom of the center column if you want to invert the center column to locate your camera closer to the ground. I have not used enough tripods to know if the quick release is good or not. It can be challenging to set back in place sometimes, but that might be operator error.Overall, I am very happy with this tripod and would recommend to anyone who is tall or looking for an extra tall tripod for specific uses.

Product came out to be fantastic and I use it often for my product reviews on my YouTube channel. Came with an extender for top down shots with oh I do often which is great. Only wish was the bag had pockets on the side for adding things like cables.

With its Aluminium construction, you can expect the tripod to last for a while and to be sturdy. I have used the tripod with both an EOS M (Mirrorless) as well as a Canon 70d (DSLR) and I have been quite pleased with the results. The tripod allows for a wide range of movements which helps with aiding in your creativity. It allows you to create some stellar and interesting shots. The head is a ball joint which allows a great deal of freedom as well as it can be attached horizontally. The tripod is rated to 22lbs of load capacity and I am inclined to believe it. Since it is aluminium it is extremely light and easy to carry around. While it can get to about 70" it also is extremely compact. I can expand the tripod via 3 extendable sections of each leg as well as the top piece. The clips that adjust the angle of the legs is sturdy and metal as well while being easy to adjust.

I've been using this tripod exclusively for both video and photography and have been quite pleased. I have used it for nature shots as well as sports. It allows me to always to capture the moment. I would recommend this tripod, beginner and professional alike.

But best stand I've ever bought. Its versatility is its selling point. I loved the horizontal arm on it because you can attach your go-pro on it, while taking pictures. You can dissemble the center column and use it as a monopod on holidays. Just buy a separate tripod foot to screw it on. It really works amazingly. I did this and forgot the monopod stand in the Bahamas:(

Right off the bat you will find all the joints have a low quality feel (they are), check out my video you can see the joints have cheap plastic bushings that don't even stay in place well. All the joints are tough to move or feel a little sloppy both when folding legs or extending the rods. The top piece that spins in a 360 does not have a nice fluid motion that is nice to have, its more of a good friction motion. After all that said though all the features packed into this tripod is amazing. Also just the shear size both how small and how large you can make it. The value you get this for is great.
Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4 Its a 4 star quality, but the features bump it up to 4

I have a couple bigger manfrotto tripods I never thought I would be buying another one. I recently started doing food photography and I need something to get the over head shots. The little hook on the bottom is not of much use. I use weight bags on the legs and it didn't move for a full two hour shoot. I will be picking up another one I love the fact the legs can be splayed out a little further for added stability.

I got the best picture I have ever taken using the monopod part of this sturdy tripod. The picture was a long exposure of a waterfall. This tripod is sturdy but weighs quite a bit for me to pack as a rather small woman. One of the many neat features of this tripod is one leg (it's identified) can be taken off and used with the center piece as a monopod. The monopod I'm willing to tote on a hike. The monopod gave me the stability I needed for get the picture without any shake. It was fairly easy to get the pieces back in place when I returned. This tripod does extend really high which is helpful when shooting over fences such as those put up to keep the public safely back.
I like the idea of using this tripod better than taking along a ladder which I've seen some photographers use for abandoned buildings and ruins. Although I haven't made full use of the range of positions this tripod permits, I like its availability. I also like how secure my camera feels on the tripod. This comes with a carrying case so when it's not in use, this tripod doesn't take up much room. My rating is 5 stars because of the sturdiness and I love being able to also use this as a monopod.
