I'm using this with a Bosch laser tape measure and it works very well. This is very nicely designed and made making it sturdy over a massive rang of heights and angles.

Have been waiting for this model.Once arrived, one of the three legs kept getting stuck.Tripod collar base neck came unglued and wouldn't lock.I know this was just an unlucky draw of the line, no worries. That's okay, I've ordered my new one and awaiting for delivery.Great make, great model.

I bought this to replace my el-cheapo tripod I've used for years - I needed something taller and with more maneuverability. This thing is fantastic - really easy to configure - and I love the panning/boom feature. Love it - highly recommend.

I purchased this tripod to take long exposure shots of the sea. For fun, I took the same shots with my husband’s Gitzo carbon fibre tripod.

In terms of equipment, I mounted a Canon 6D Mark II with a Marumi 6 stop ND filter. I took exposures of around 10-30 seconds in winds of 12 mph gusting to 16mph. Yep, I checked the wind speed!

My feeling is that the biggest difference between the two tripods is the weight in transit. Carbon fibre is lighter than aluminium but in actual use both tripods are rock solid.

I should say that the K&F is exceptional value for money. I found it sturdy, well constructed, and I really liked the fact that the main tripod column has another hidden column inside it like some sort of Russian doll. It took me some time to figure out where it was but once I did I was very satisfied with myself. :-) Once you pull it out, it can be rotated transversely so as to mount your camera in portrait mode. Brilliant!

Suffice to say that I couldn’t tell the difference between the seascapes I took with this K&F tripod and the Gitzo, which just goes to show for the hundredth time that it’s not the gear you have but the skill you have that matters.

As for micro movements affecting camera shake, I believe that both tripods in real world use probably had about the same. In the end, it came down to my ability to use them.

I’ve included some shots of the K&F tripod because I feel so strongly about this product that I think it’s important to show off the build quality. I really like it. For the money, it’s an absolute winner.

I traveled rather frequently for sporting events so I had done brief research and ultimately decided on this tripod. I only regret not getting this sooner considering its portability, weight and versatility. Other people have actually come up to me and asked where I had obtained this tripod. This tripod actually goes up HIGH with ease and STABILITY. Very impressive. I might buy second just to keep spare in hand.

For the price point you get a fairly solid unit with a ton of adjustment options. The arm fully out to its "max" were the line is has some serious sag with a Sony A7iii on it and a small lens. The ball attachment is okay but you really have to twist to get it to stop moving and it makes me question how long that will last tightened and loosening over time. Otherwise it's a decent unit.

Absolutely amazing tripod! I bought it for product photography to get the straight down shots and it's extremely versatile. I couldn't be happier with it.
