Both lenses are Sigma lenses with 2 different brands of UV filters on them. The lens on the left is my 150-500mm with a filter made by another brand. The right is my 150-600mm lens with the K&F filter. The lens on the left looks a little hazy, while the K&F filter does not.

Does not decrease image quality that I can tell. You can feel that it is weather sealed, but I'm not testing it to see if it truly is.

Comes in a plastic case

So far, no complaints.
Fits Sigma 150-600mm perfectly

I know there are photographers out there that do not believe in having one of these on their lenses because they feel it doesn't make their photos sharp or whatever. But, I have to say, I honestly do not notice any softness or any distortion. I believe in protecting my lenses after my tripod took a fall with my camera on it one night. The filter shattered and my lens survived. Also sometimes the camera bumps into things before I can put the hood on and i just don't want to take that chance. Besides if you really feel it's soft, topaz labs has a great sharpening tool. I recommend this, the cost is reasonable and I have had great results. No complaints here.

I've switched to K&F UV filters from a "competing" brand.
A couple of reasons:
The filter build quality is superior. These have better "texture" to the metal making them easier to screw and unscrew. The coating looks superior, and I have not noticed any degradation in image quality. Image quality between UV / SKY1A filters is so subjective I won't go into any discussion. Suffice it to say these have no noticeable degradation to picture quality (and I do a lot of macro & wildlife, both ends of the distance / lighting spectrum). Further, I am fanatical about protecting my lenses. The threads on the lens barrel are easily damaged by a drop and the glass can be scratched. I'd rather replace a filter than a lens any time.
K&F has a "better filter".
Recommended.

This UV filter was a bit more money than I had to spend but the quality of the filter was worth it. It works so well that you don't realize the filter is on the camera. Excellent filter would recommend.
Great value Great value

Does NOT affect the clarity of the photo. Its gnarled edge makes it easy to screw into the lens. Having dropped a lens and shattering the filter instead, I strongly suggest the filter. The K&F is a good, budget friendly product if you cannot afford Schott glass.

I bought this filter with no knowledge of the company. I still don't know anything but what I have observed: it seems to be quality construction and, most importantly, I took it out shooting and the clarity and visual performance of my favorite Nikon wide angle lens remains just as superb as ever. So, it's a quality filter at a very good price.
