Leica M39 50mm/75mm Lenses to Leica M Lens Mount Adapter K&F Concept M19151 Lens Adapter, Non-SLR port M39
SKU: KF06.277
As mentioned in the title. I'm talking about FD lenses. The first model and the conventional LM-EA7 compatible version interfered with the LM-EA9's M-mount button, but the version purchased on 2023/1 had a safe escape this time and I was able to install it safely. Immediately after the arrival of the LM-EA9, the first model was scraped and used, but after being scattered several times, the internal parts were lost, so this time I bought it to remove the parts... If that doesn't mean that they could wear it due to individual differences, I hope that K&F and Tech Art and Focus Studio will make announcements soon.

bought an FD → Leica M. It's a FL lens, which may or may not be used depending on the lens, but I was able to use it normally with 50mmF1.4. The FD lens mount has a locking mechanism. Although the structure is more complicated than other mount adapters, the price is the same as other mounts, so it is very helpful. Thanks to this locking mechanism it is also possible to move the aperture flap and in the case of an F1.4 lens this is very convenient as it can be used as an aperture ring for F1.4 → F2.8 → F5.6 → F11 when the aperture is set to minimum.

You can also use the hood with this adapter with NEW non-locking FD mount lenses. After attaching the lens to the adapter, if you turn the LOCK-OPEN ring on the adapter to LOCK, the aperture stop will move in accordance with the aperture ring on the lens. The same applies to FD mount lenses, which have a locking mechanism. It is therefore an adapter that can be used with aperture both for FD and NEW FD whether there is a locking mechanism or not.

I've just used it so I'm not sure how durable it is, but it's not particularly hard and there's no problem.

Used on Techart Pro (so not on the Leica system), very useful for adapting the M42 lenses to my Sony (the Techart Pro adapter has a Sony to Leica M connection). A bit expensive for a piece of metal, but at least it's not plastic, it looks good and isn't difficult to attach.

Very good adapter! Solidly made, doesn't wobble and sits stably on the camera. The existing old lenses can continue to be used without any problems.

The adapter is very well made and makes a high-quality impression. The fit is perfect both on the Leica bayonet and on the M42 thread side. Nothing wobbles or sticks.

Got the L/RL/M adapter to use a Leica R Macro lens on the Leica M for the few macro photos I take. I didn't feel like paying 160 EUR for an original Leica adapter, so I bought this one from K&F. R lens fits perfectly with no play, and the connection to the M camera is also perfect. It goes up and down nicely, without exerting any force, without anything wobbling. Perfect for my area of application. I've bought 3 K&F adapters so far and I'm super happy with them. They make a valuable, stable impression. It may be that after years they no longer have the quality of a Leica original due to larger manufacturing tolerances, but currently. it's great
