I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend, and she loves it! It is less complicated than the multi-lens magnifiers for phone cameras, and it facilitates taking great pictures of people or things at a bit of distance.

I tend to view these mobile phone lens adapters as gimmicky plasticy junk that just sits in a drawer somewhere after being used exactly once... 9 times out of 10 that is the case. Not this time! This cool device essentially turns your phone camera into a digital microscope. The addition of a ring light around the lens is crucial here and the execution is well thought out. The ring light enables your subject to be in full light even when the lens is literally sitting on top of the object you are viewing. I used a piece of cloth as an example. The first image is at the standard 1x from my Pixel 8 Pro. The second image is using the same 1x camera on my phone but with this 150x lens adapter in front of it. The results are insane and totally unexpected! I can't wait to try this lens out on more objects around my home. Highly impressed! 5/5

This is better than any other digital microscopes that we've tried (short of a professional one). It's easy to mount and align it perfectly to a lens of your choice. The 150x macro lens has a built in LED ring light that's very effective in lighting the subject. Overall, it's super easy to use. I think the results speaks for itself - see the photos I've uploaded. I've never seen the hidden spider on a dollar bill so clearly! You can actually see the individual fabric on the bill! Amazing.

I'm using this with a Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has camera lenses that protrude from the back of the phone quite a bit. The clip frame for this microscope lens comes with optional pads you can use to accommodate for a phone like that. The clips will inevitably go over the buttons, but that's really not a big deal to me.Anyways, I included some test shots of various things. First is the texture of a plastic armrest, then closeup shot of outdoor fabric from the same chair. Last is a small ring that my partner was wearing. These photos were not processed or cropped in any way. Depending on your phone camera's lens, you'll likely end up with a little big of vignette unless you crop it or combine with your phone's zoom. You do need to get pretty close to the subject with this and focusing can be a challenge due to the fixed aperture of most (all?) phone cameras. If your phone has different cameras on the back, look up the specs and see if one has a higher aperture, then try that if you're struggling with focus. Plus if you use it with a phone that has an optical zoom telephoto lens, you can increase your total magnification even further. The built-in lights are also really really handy, because you have to get so close to the subject that you wouldn't have much light on it otherwise. Charges easily with USB-C and the ability to lock the frame position and then just clip out the lens to swap in one of their other ones like the 200x is really really handy so you're not needing to reposition all the time.

Nice quality lens; good lighting; clear enough images; 50X listing has disappeared?I’ve added this this gizmo to my list of phone lenses I use for these reviews in fact. Often needed for close up details on some items I review.I rather like the mounting system for this device though I was skeptical at first. It allows for fairly fine adjustment allowing the phone lens on my iPhone 11 to be aligned correctly with the magnifying lens. 50X is a lot for hand held but it is doable. The integrated light and color control is very nice to have. The photos include a close up of a 1/2” router bit edge where you can see relatively rough grinding marks.

Wasn't sure I would like this, but after trying it I love. I do lapidary work, and I want to make sure I'm using the best part of the stone or maybe look at it up close to see what I'm missing, and this gives me that beautiful view that I normally wouldn't be able to see.

I used this with my iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it's such a fun little gadget for exploring the world around you. The magnification is impressive for its size!
I took a zoomed-out shot of a chair and then zoomed in close, and you can really see all the fine details.
It seems like it would be a great tool for checking out jewelry too. I let my son use it, and he had a blast walking around and finding things to examine up close. The built-in light is a nice touch, and you can adjust the intensity, color, and warmth of the light, which is super handy.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend it! The manual is also clear and shows you exactly how to line it up with your phone.

I shopped around for a simple way to macro-photo some of my small items and create detailed pictures. This is a great value, and is very easy to use. Their customer care is great. I have iPhoneXR with a Ballistic case and it works just fine.

This is a great macro lens! I prefer it in comparison to other macro smartphone lenses that I've used because I don't have to get as close to my subject matter of the macro shot for it to be in focus. This lens is also great at creating a professional looking depth of field in my photos, keeping the main subject matter focused while blurring out the background. This lens is also really easy to use and install, it fit & worked on my Galaxy S10e & IPhone SE without any issues. I highly recommend it if your goal is to capture professional quality macro shots with your smartphone!
