The macro lens is really neat. I just received mine today.So I quickly tried it out by taking hand held photos.Therefore the focus isn’t as good as it could be. I like the use of the small light source since that did help take better photos with the macro lens. I used the highest setting. For the iPro 14 I had to change the position of the macro lens for the correct iPhone lens and as well as for the wide angle lens. It does make the iPhone heavier so for the Macro use a tripod would be a great help. I would recommend buying this lens for the quality, ease of use and price.

I am not great at writing reviews, but I HAD to write a review for this lens. I absolutely adore it, it has allowed me to take the photos I have always wanted without having an expensive DSLR setup with macro lens. The quality is great, it has withstood a good bit of abuse from daily use for the past five months. I've dropped it, banged it, spilled liquid on it, and its still in fantastic condition. The clip is extremely strong, I clip it on and then very rarely have to readjust it when I'm out in the field, even after a few hours out in the woods. The photos I took with it hopefully speak for themselves, there is no halo, the area in focus is perfect for what I need. I've bought cheap little lenses in the past and the area that was in focus was so tiny it was hardly worth it.

I carry my phone with me often these days, and I'm a student of pollinators.I wanted an attachment that would get me closer!If you're a beekeeper and need to see your brood frames - eggs, larvae, health conditions UP CLOSE, this is a very inexpensive option that will enhance your real-time viewing.Think of it as a digital magnifying glass with the option to take photos or videos as necessary. Many beekeepers have problems seeing into brood frame cells when they are trying to see eggs in particular. I'm specifically reviewing the macro portion of the lens, don't care about the CPL and starlight filter at all. For the price, this is a fantastic tool for anyone who needs to get close to any object and have the option to digitally capture details for future reference or for messaging a friend for a second opinion.Is it better than the camera on the phone by itself? YES!

This was a super affordable investment for my little business that has paid off! I am able to shoot detailed product photos of my littlest pieces with big impact. I appreciate the detail in every image. The equipment is sturdy, high quality, and never once had an issue with the clip. Super well made.

So the lenses themselves are fun. I wanted this specifically for the macro lens. I’m thinking of ordering a second to see which macro copy I prefer.The pros:1. Decent weight to the lenses telling me they’re not completing garbage 2. They are compatible with iPhone 15 pro 3. Macro is 32x so you can get a taste of macro on a very limited budget 4. Clarity of image with the macro lens is decent. 5. No noticeable vignetting from my copy 6. The zippered case is nicer than a baggie The cons 1. no lens covers

A great product for the money, when combined with an existing intermediate skill level with the basics of photography and some established experience with phone macro photography specifically. A meaningful upgrade from cheaper lenses, and a great compliment to more powerful lenses that lack the Kentfaith's high image quality and increased depth-of-field. This will likely be my primary phone macro lens until I decide to shell out for a Moment, an Exolens, or a dedicated camera.

This is a very nice addition to the iPhone arsenal. The macro lens on some Very Small wildflowers with great results. While not professional quality the photos show amazing details of these small subjects. Focusing on the subject is easy-just move the phone with the lens attached back and forth until the spot you want is focused where you want.

I bought this figuring it would take some decent photos because I had heard good things about it. But, it takes amazing photos, not just decent photos. I am really enjoying it a lot! I’m a semi pro photographer, but I find myself using my DSLR less than I used to when I am out and about because my phone takes such nice pictures, and now, with the addition of this macro lens, I can get great close-ups of insects, and other things.
