This is great for intermediate kids who can take care of them. It’s not something that fits in your pocket so you have to be intentional when you want to travel with it. The screen has great detail and is sufficient for intent and cost. As an adult, I have enjoyed it but would rather have a stronger microscope since I would like to see things even deeper.

I bought this for my 10 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loves it. They live on a farm and she is checking everything out with it. It is so much fun and also educational. Would definitely buy it again.

This microscope helped my ten year old explore the micro world around her. She was very excited to learn what things in her environment she could see under the microscope. From insects, to leaves, to snow, food, and many other things were fun to see and document. The scope was easy to use and very powerful. I highly recommend this scope for children and adults who want to document their micro findings.

I bought this as a gift for my son and we have both found plenty of use for it. It's not only fun but also educational. It's easy to use and the picture quality is pretty good. It is able to zoom in and out which is pretty easy to use. Overall I would recommend this product.

I’m a marine biologist that studies a small sea star in the intertidal. I mainly focus on the embryonic development and with this device I will be able to determine the developmental stage of the embryo out in the field! Overall I highly recommend this device for any scientists doing research!

Love using it in the field. Great resolution. Great quality. I would have liked to have a slightly more zoomed out initial image which seems counter productive but would add the the versatility.

The Kentfaith is a surprisingly powerful microscope and is very easy to use. I wanted something for my 4 year-old who is fascinated with bugs and nature. This microscope has a bright light, and the focusing mechanism is large and easy enough for him to use. The image on the LCD is clear, and they aren't joking about the magnification. It's strong enough to almost be a negative-- it's hard for a 4 year-old to understand the microscopic view of the objects before him. This is something he'll learn in time. The microscope is very convenient to carry around and well built.

I found this unit to be good for getting an enlarged view of the natural world. The magnification is not quite what I had hoped but for the price, it would be a good item for a child's introduction to biology.

I got this for my grand daughter. It came packaged well. Buttons and focus knob are easy to identify and use. She loves it. So much fun, we thought we had found a dead lady bug. As we were observing it, it started moving and then walking. Would recommend.
