49mm Magnetic CPL Filter Circular Polarizer Lens Filter Optical Glass Ultra Slim with 18 Multi-Layer Coatings Nano-Klear Series

This is an innovative design that saves you having to swap out your protective filter (UV or whatever) if you occasionally need a polarizer. I tried leaving the outer ring as it fits, over my regular UV filter. It just clicks into place. Obviously you should take it off and it shouldn't be kept there permanently as a pretty hard bump will dislodge it. However, if you're shooting landscapes on a tripod and not walking around, it's fine. Optically it's very good. I have no complaints. I'm a bit surprised that the sky was apparently bluer without the filter than with. I'll have to do more testing to see that. Probably modern digital cameras compensate for the colors. It was a Nikon Z7ii.

Pretty happy with this filter. The magnetic aspect makes it a breeze to put on and take off. No cross-thread filters or fiddling. The CLP works well and does what it's supposed to do. Reduces glare and enhances blue skies. A CPL is one of those filters I never go without, especially for landscape photography. The filter is well made and finely finished.

really like the magnetic design of this CPL filter. The filter reduces the amount of light coming in by about one stop, so it's really nice to be able to turn it off real quick when you need an extra stop of light. I use it quite frequently and being able to remove it without having to turn it on and off every time is a pretty nice time saver. K&F also offers other filters with this feature so you can easily switch between filters on the fly without having to unscrew the magnetic ring section. It's a nice system they've designed. As far as the CPL goes. The image quality is great. Other than the light loss that is to be expected with this type of filter, there doesn't seem to be any other negative impact on the image. The glass is great quality. I've been using K&F filters for a while now and they've all been top notch. Great brand for photography accessories.

bought the 77mm for my Canon 24-70 and 70-200 zooms; it came nicely packaged with a sturdy filter case and a microfiber cloth. Screws easily onto both lenses and works great!

Polarized filters are really handy when there is glare from a surface like glass or water. Usually that means you take out the right filter, screw it on, and then take your photo. This filter has magnets built in so it just pops open! This makes it super easy to switch from off to and back to off in a snap. Definitely worth adding this to your filter collection!

I consider a CPL a "just in case" type filter, so I usually keep one in my bag but rarely use it. I think I like the reflections in a lot of cases, especially street photography. Maybe if I did more nature photography I would feel differently, so the fact that it has a magnetic ring is just perfect, so I can just put it on when I need it. It doesn't seem to like a lens cap, but I don't really use them either since I have a decent UV filter on there all the time and occasionally shoot with a lens hood. I use that on my 24-105mm S on my S5IIX. When I have that stacked on top of a UV filter I still don't see any vignette at the wide end, which is what I was hoping for.

I've been a fan of K&F filters and accessories for some time now and have come to appreciate the brand's durability and quality. Most of my lenses live their lives with K&F UV protection filters on the front. Like many others, I've started to focus more energy on taking advantage of these features, not to mention portability, as the quality of mobile phone images and videos has improved to near-professional quality levels. In both videography and photography, whether with a full-size camera or a high-end mobile phone, I find a CPL filter indispensable. It also has the effect of neutral density. In the hand, the K&F Concepts Magnetic Circular Polarizing Filter System gives the impression of quality. Between the matte black finish, the 52mm magnetic adapter ring, and the reflection of the rich multi-coatings, it's an impressive filter. Interestingly, despite the fact that the adapter and filter are magnetically attached, the CPL still rotates freely as needed to adjust the angle. That must be magic. The only disappointment with the system for me is the lack of usable threads on the front of the CPL. I prefer lens hoods and would love a way to attach them. Or to have the option to mount another filter or step-up ring onto the system. However, step-up/down rings with appropriate 52mm thread can be attached to the threaded adapter ring. For example, a 49mm — 52mm step-down ring allows the 52mm CPL to be used on a 49mm threaded lens. On the other hand, the lens I showed in the pictures takes 52mm filters and its built-in sunshade fits well with the 52mm K&F Concept Magnetic System, but the lens' front cap does not. I checked the K&F Concept store and they have a number of other magnetic filters, filter sizes and adapter ring combinations in their magnetic ecosystem, most of which include a magnetically attachable front lens cap, including circular polarizers; why they don't include one with that combination I wouldn't know, but I think they should. The convenience of the system is negated if, to protect the font of my lens, I have to twist out the adapter ring to put it on a lens cap. I didn't notice anywhere in their Amazon store that a compatible magnetic lens cap is sold separately. In my view, a complete system, and I'm not just referring to K&F Concept in this regard, would include magnetically attachable lens caps and lens hoods as part of the ecosystem. Or failing that, the front threads on the attached filter or the corresponding adapter rings that are the same size as the rear threads on the adapter, allowing for a more versatile system and one that would accommodate the screw-on filters currently used by users. In any case, I have full confidence in the quality of K&F Concepts filters and their products in general. They are a reliable company that stands behind their product lines. If you are interested in any magnetic filtration system, including this one, I suggest checking out the K&F Concept Amazon store for all the available options. Enjoy.

This polarizing filter comes in its protective box and a cloth. The magnetic design separates the filter into 2 parts: the magnetic ring that is permanently screwed onto the lens and the filter that magnetically adheres to the ring. The strength of the magnet is enough to securely attach the filter and prevent it from falling off during use. However, you should still not hit it too hard! The rotation of the filter is smooth and pleasant. I recommend always turning the filter in the screwing direction so as not to risk unscrewing the ring in the long run. The ring is very thin and does not interfere with the assembly of the lens hood. However, we will be careful not to hang the filter when removing the lens hood, it only fits magnetically, keep that in mind. Once the principle and peculiarities of this flexible and practical system are well integrated, it is convenient! And of course, if you juggle with other filters of the same type, it is super fast to change. The optical quality is also there. I recommend.

I bought the K&F magnetic CPL filter to mount on a Sony 18-105 lens. Although the filter is excellently made (even the magnet attaches well to the support ring), the main problem is that the lens cap (72mm diameter) does not attach to either the filter or the support ring, leaving the glasses unprotected. The return has begun.

magnetic polarizing filter, what a genius idea! I rarely use a polarizing filter as I find them a soft spot. With this one I slide the filter ring on over my existing UV filter (also K&F Concept) but I find all filters are pretty standard and just leave it in place, I don't have to remove it every time. The polarizer just snaps on and off so easily without being insecure that it will just fall off during use. I haven't tried walking and hopping around with the filter on, just in case, only when I'm actually using it. The polarizer just rotates to the desired position and it doesn't affect the ring at all, it doesn't unscrew from the lens. And it does its job as a circular polarizer. Also comes with a lens cleaning cloth. I think this will change my landscape photography for the better. Another excellent filter from K&F Concept who make quality products at reasonable prices.
