At the time of this review, just under 29€ for an 82mm magnetic CPL filter that works as expected (tested on a 24Mpx Canon full frame) is very good. The filter itself and the magnetic base ring together are no thicker than my other non-magnetic CPL filters. The quality of construction is there, the screwing is fluid, the visuals are coherent and high quality. There is just the thread not being deep enough to put my original 82mm lens cap back on. But I have an 82mm cap from K&F that fits on it, it depends too much on the caps themselves and then I use my filters with step-up rings on other sizes 3 out of 4 times anyway so it doesn't seem important to me.

This is a TEST REVIEW for the item sold on Amazon with the description: K&F Concept Nano-K Magnetic Filter, CPL Circular Polarizing Filter with Nano Coating for 77mm Lens (Cleaning Cloth Included). This is a CPL filter (polarized light is controlled by rotation around its axis) that is very comfortable to use thanks to its two-part threaded anchor ring and the filter with magnetic outer ring. The threaded ring is installed and then it can be removed with a simple grip and pull on its contour (which has a ribbed texture for a better grip) and to fix it again, then present it on the ring and position it until you find the magnetic pull and its anchor in a well-adjusted position. In terms of performance, they stand out outdoors in good sunlight (indoors and artificial light is imperceptible) and outdoors very shady. Therefore, it is usually useful when shooting landscapes, especially in areas where an area of sky or clouds appears, or where light is reflected in rivers, springs, lakes, etc... or in reflections with a metallic effect. Depending on the orientation in which the ring is rotated, the image becomes slightly darker or brighter, attenuating the sunlight and taking on a greater or lower color saturation (when rotated on the magnetic system it sounds a little like a rubbing squeak, but as is usually used in photo and video recordings, the position is first sought and then the recording is activated, as this does not affect the tone of the recordings). I made an edited video with some image changes in the same shots, with the CPL polarization ring only partially rotated. The images appear with a higher hue but less luminous, which is why it is advisable to adjust the gain of the light meter a little, because if we rotate the ring when we are in manual mode or in the preferred aperture or speed control modes with respect to it, the recording speeds and apertures vary respectively, and personally I like images that are a little more vivid both in colors and brightness, but without annoying reflections. Due to its very good price/quality ratio and its ease of installation and replacement with filters from the same “Magnetic Adapter Ring” magnetic attachment ring system, its thin “Slim” mount that prevents vignetting on square lenses, its good presentation in a protective box and the special cleaning cloth included in the set, my rating for this K&F Concept filter is: “5 STARS” = [* * * * * *]. I hope you find this review helpful, Best regards. The disadvantage that I forgot and that I noticed later is that on CANON lenses with the EF series front caps, they do not attach with the filter installed or with the filter removed, since the filter is a narrow format (SLIM), the retaining tabs of the lens front cover do not engage with the profile of the filter or its support ring. To be able to put the cap on, you must also remove the threaded ring and store the set in the box.

High quality CPL filter that I used on my Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 sports lens for motorsport photography. It has the added benefit of being magnetic, which is great if you want to remove it quickly. Even better if you buy the other filters in this range as you can swap them out quickly. The magnet is nice and strong and I didn't feel like it would accidentally fall off. However, I did find that my Sigma lens cap doesn't fit well with the filter or the magnetic ring either. It just clips on but isn't secure and falls off easily. I also found it difficult to remove the CPL filter with the lens hood on as I couldn't get my fingers around the filter. Overall a good filter and very good value for money. I just wish my lens cap at least fit on the magnetic ring as having to unscrew the ring to attach my lens cap kind of defeats the point of the magnetic feature.

have been shooting with 35mm cameras since I was 16 and that was 56 years ago. I have a collection of cameras that I use and lots of accessories including filters that I can use across my entire camera collection. I have always found it a hassle to change filters while shooting, screwing them on and unscrewing them to remove them. It takes time and coordination. Then about a year ago I was introduced to magnetic filters. Magnetic filters eliminate the need to screw on and off the filters you use. There is an adapter ring that screws onto the front barrel of the lens and the outer edge of the filter is magnetized so instead of screwing on and off the filter, it magnetically attaches to the adapter and sticks. To change the filters you just have to take off the filter you want to remove and put on the filter you want. No screwing required. I am sold on them. I now have magnetic adapters for each of my main lens diameters and am slowly replacing my traditional filters with the magnetic filters. Most brands of magnetic filters are compatible with each other, so you can mix and match them however you like. I have been buying filters from K&F Concepts for a long time. I am confident in their quality and know that they stand behind their product and for the price you can't go wrong.

regularly go out into nature with my dog and carry my Nikon D750 with various lenses, the most important of which all have a 77 mm thread. Especially in the forest and in the Harz Mountains, I always use a polarizing filter to reduce reflections from leaves and water. The only problem is that polarizing filters always absorb light and you have to extend the exposure time accordingly, which is a disadvantage if I want to take spontaneous photos of my dog. Up until now, I was skeptical about magnetic filters because I was unsure whether they would hold well enough when I was hiking through nature with the camera and the filter mounted. Accordingly, I welcomed the opportunity to test this filter from K&F as part of the Vine program. I have already had very good experiences with K&F products. Your program covers a very broad spectrum, but there are some of your products that are very high quality, but are aimed at ambitious amateur photographers precisely because of the lower prices. This filter is also one of the better products, which you notice as soon as you unpack it. The filter is very cleanly made, the magnetic thread and filter fit perfectly. The filter comes in a matching box, and there is also a lens cloth included, which is well protected in aluminum packaging. Overall, everything makes a very good impression. The thread can be easily screwed onto the lens, the magnet pulls the filter well into position and holds it very firmly, so that the filter can be easily rotated without slipping out of position. Since this is a slim design, it hardly affects the image even with the wide-angle lens at 16 mm. This filter has clearly put to rest my fear that a magnetic filter could fall off while hiking. It sits really securely and firmly on the lens. Nevertheless, it can be removed very quickly if necessary, which is much more convenient than the tedious unscrewing. For me, this is a significant improvement in the handling of filters in outdoor photography, where you often have to adjust your equipment spontaneously. I think I will now rely more on using magnetic filters, the test convinced me of their functionality. The filter performance is clearly in the better range of the polarizing filters that I use. There are really big differences in the reduction of reflections and color fastness, and you have to invest quite a bit if you want to have reliably good filter performance. I am very satisfied with the performance of this filter; you can clearly see how reflections are reduced when you turn it. Overall, this is another highly recommended product from K&F.

I recently received two K&F lenses. I've never used the brand before, although I've heard of them. I decided to try it on and my, it's a great filter. No issues. Good for shooting through glass or water. I think the price (very low) put me off the brand, under the *false* assumption that their filters were cheaper than. Turns out I'm wrong. They just have great filters at a great price!

I've never had a single problem with K&F lens filters... so when my ten year old lens filter got scratched... I knew exactly where to go. Fast shipping as always, great quality, good sharp image... what's not to love? Will keep getting them.

Used on my NIKKOR 70-200mm. No degradation of image quality. Strong magnet holds the filter well and it does not come off the lens when shooting. I have several K&F filters and they are all good quality. Recommend!

I like my K&F Concept 58mm Magnetic Circular Polarizer Lens Filter. It fits well magnetically or screwed on. The quality of the filter is very good. It also comes with a lens cap safely stored to protect it when not in use.
