The tripod is excellently made, even too robust for the possible use, I would have liked a lot more quick adjustment to be able to orient myself better, for example the fixed camera, which I sometimes have to put in tight corners and which I can use by means of it's hard to tell if it's perfectly level from the shots, I recommend it anyway, for the price they're asking it's really great!!

The tripod is high quality. In terms of functionality and usability, nothing is left to be desired for me. The tripod head is liquid-bearing, I would like to use the tripod with a spotting scope. In the case of jerky movements without weighting and setting up, it naturally lifts the tripod off its hinges. But 1. you don't make any jerky movements with the spotting scope mounted and 2. you can mount an additional weight on the robust metal hook. I think you should choose a different tripod head for very light setups. But the best thing is that the tripod, completely dismantled, only has a transport length of 50cm. The center column without the tripod head is then the longest part at 50cm. Scope of delivery as described, no damage or similar, very valuable transport bag that is 66cm long.

I needed a video monopod for a lightweight camera. I knew the Cayer was a good option in terms of price and quality, but I hadn't personally tried these two-in-one kits.
I'm very happy, for a little more price (from 110€ for the normal monopod to 140€ for the tripod/monopod) I have both. A monopod that works well with a mirrorless DSLR or in my case a medium sized fs5 type video camera. In addition, as a tripod, it is very suitable as a second tripod for a fixed plane that does not move much. Still, the bread and the tilts are good for them.
If you need a professional tripod to use as your main tripod, you may need to go for a more expensive tripod. However, if you want a well-designed monopod that you can double use as a secondary tripod, this is a hit.
In fact, I couldn't see it until the monopod arrived (without using the center pole), it stays around 1.7m. For me it's a perfect height, but with another extension you can go even higher.

Product that does not reflect the price at all. It is a product that competes very well with products from famous brands in terms of material quality, surface quality and stability. The only warning that I don't consider absolutely negative but that should be emphasized before a possible purchase... it's a heavy thread. Excellent value for money. do i recommend it Absolutely yes and I don't think there is anything better at this price point.

I state that I already have a Manfrotto 546GB with a 504HD head (great headstand), I needed a second tripod but I had no intention of accessing a mortgage to buy it... so I will compare it to this...
what can I say I was amazed at the quality... I was expecting a cinesata but had to change my mind, large size, closed it is the size of a photo tripod, it has a fantastic carrying case, a liquid head with different adjustments, adjustments, bubbles, etc., dimensions during use both in height and in perfect dimensions, possibility of using them as a monopod.
Let's go to the dark side...
The weight is definitely not light, the head I still say good does not have all the Manfrotto head adjustments, for example the adjustable clutch for horizontal movement... which is present on Manfrotto and is not present here... but we always consider the price, the boom for moving the head is a little short and not telescopic, there is no three-foot base in monopod mode, so you get tired of holding it in place for long-term use. The hooks for tightening the tripod rods seem undersized to me, but it still does their dirty work.
Conclusion Manfrotto is still Manfrotto... but this Cayer surprised me.
