I've accidentally found things I wasn't even looking for!
I found a roof leak by mistake.
When I looked around for poor insulation one day, I checked another day after it rained and happened to see a very small blue dot on the ceiling which disappeared the next day--it was a water leak in the roof.
I found a dysfunctional AC power outlet which was, for some reason, beaming out heat when it wasn't in use.
I've found that heat on my electronics don't radiate where I thought, so I've moved the small cooling fans to more effective places.

Tried the Flir Camera Gen 3 USB C and it works good but got this one and wow. Very clear image.

Very easy to use with a great picture and several adjustment options. Great tool to help with finding those cold spots in your home.

The depth of view is incredible. I can see the roof supports through the plaster board in my ceiling! This little unit has that name brand thermo camera beat hands down!

This is a great little device - Saw it being used online in a video and had to get one. One use, I have, is for finding "hot" circuits and turning off phantom loads. I can see a phone charging and the cord and the connectors. Another use is going to be finding hot spots in my home during hot weather. I have a radiant reflector/barrier paint that I am going to apply to outside facing walls for any hot spots. The cool part is seeing your footprints on the carpet as you walk backwards. This device has lots of practical uses but cheap enough to buy for the occasional look in your backyard at night to see the animals.

If you are looking for a thermo camera, this works great. The only issue is that the USB-C connector isn't tall enough for my case. However, I fix it by using two 90 degree angle USB-C adapters. The software and camera works great.

I been using this tool for a few months now. After downloading the app it was easy to use. And I like how it’s all on my phone make it’s easier. I have another thermal camera that is a standalone tool and I would have to upload the image and then email it to my self to have them on my phone. Also comes in a nice case.

I think it's very cool. Seems to work great. You get to see the world through a different lens.
