I like this unit, having something like this makes it easy to read and see the temps outside.

Great weather station. Cannot get WiFi connected and see results on iPhone. That is why I can’t rate this a 5.

Just installed ours and it seems to do as promised. Display is well-designed and with relevant data points. I had some challenges connecting to the server but their support team quickly resolved my issue and now the app works as well. They were prompt, courteous, and helpful.

I have one of these weather stations and I had questions about getting it set up. I have to say that the customer service was WAY beyond my expectations. The service agant worked with me daily until the issue was resolved. The weather station also works well and is fun to have. But the customer service is what sets them apart.

My old station died. :( But this Kentfaith FT-0300 is a nice clean and easy to set up home weatherstation.
Now the specific concerns.
This is a home-use, internet linked weatherstation, quick to set up and easy to get online. BUT...
There is no way to calibrate the wind vane. Many homes are not oriented North South on any wall so the wall mount options make it relatively impossible to ensure your wind direction is correct. This is compounded by the oblong mounting pole which forces the set up to require a North-South oriented mounting surface. (previous "Professional" weather stations all had a mechanism to calibrate this sensor).
Additionally there is no way to calibrate the temperature sensor at the console either--while one expects it to arrive calibrated, that is not how professisonal weather stations work.
Likewise, too, for the barometer--there is no way to calibrate this for your locations altitude. Hopefully WeatherUnderground and WeatherCloud are making the adjustments based on the locations. Also on the Barometer when I switched over to this new station, the Barometer reading was 8 Hpa lower than the other functioning barometer (which was much closer to the local readings at the local airport). While relative barometric pressure is the indicator, it would be nice to be calibrated and consistent with the actual Pressure. A little note on the Barometer is that there is no trend indicator. Trend would be nice on the console but I guess most people are looking on their phones or computer so that will have trends on the sites. All in all it is a nice station but not really professional.
Finally, the manual has a section on firmware updating but no such updating files exist online so this is a useless feature and useless to put into the manual.

Product was simple to setup. Customer support was excellent on a missing part and sent replacement.

The weather station is great and the WiFi connection is easy to hook up. The color screen is very bright and clear from across the room and the weather conditions appear to be very accurate. The only down is the weather app for iOS. What a piece of worthless junk. Impossible to connect to, outdated and worthless. I recommend this weather station, however don’t buy it for the app. You don’t need the app on your phone to use the station. The best I could tell is that it’s only for sharing your weather data with other users and seeing other users data. 5 stars for the station and a huge minus one star for the clunky iOS app.

Clear monitor, easy to install. Great gadget for the weather buff in you.
