78"/2m Overhead Aluminum DSLR Tripod Compact Portable Vlog Tripod Monopod 22lbs/10kg Load, K234A7+BH-28L (S210)
SKU: KF09.087A
Acquired as a replacement for my old tripod, it meets many of my expectations. Light to transport fixed on my backpack, quick to set up and efficient tightening, this material is rather sturdy. Also effective for conditioning with these multiple possibilities including the 360° swivel, I feel that I'm going to wear it out this little tripod. Very satisfied with my purchase.

I was looking for a stable but easy to use tripod.
The tripod makes a high-quality and stable impression, which I also confirmed in action during the first uses.
Quick-release mounts are very useful, so you can quickly and flexibly adjust the height of the tripod.
It's not just a tripod, you can also convert it to a monopod.
Since the tripod can hold up to 10 kg, it is not difficult to screw larger lenses onto the camera.
I really like the bag that comes with it, because I can safely carry the lens.
Thanks to the built-in spirit level, you can set up the tripod securely and straight,
If you are looking for a high quality tripod at a low price, you have made the right decision with this tripod.
I am very satisfied.

So first, I want to lay the foundations of my opinion: I am a very regular user of tripods of all kinds, large video, small travel, flash media, for macro. It's no less than 10 different models, of all brands, which allow me to be adapted for the type of output but above all to be able to use them all at the same time on multi-angle and multi-flash photo studios.
I wanted to try my luck with this model for its price already, but also for its very advantageous size/compactness ratio, and above all because I have already had a VERY good feedback when buying filters from the same K& brand. ;F. You should know that the service offered by the brand here is incredible... and I find more or less what made Benro so successful 15 years ago. Indeed, everything is done to offer the best package at a fairly low price.
So for the price, what do we have here: a 4-section aluminum tripod plus a 2-section central column. The foot sections are tightened by an anti-twist plastic butterfly clip, a point that is very important when it comes to having an ultra-simple and ultra-fast set-up. Then, there is a ball joint with panoramic axis and clamping of the separate ball. Here again everything is done for an ultra-fast installation since it will only take two turns to tighten everything in a very ergonomic way (a butterfly clip and not a simple non-slip ring).
Another point for which I didn't expect much and which nevertheless pleasantly surprised me: the foot which comes off as a monopod is VERY well built, with the lower part which interlocks over several mm and thus secures the attachment. The set is high, VERY high, and to gain in performance you should not hesitate to lower each section of the lower part. It's a great way to gain stiffness.
Speaking of rigidity, you should know that it is aluminum... and that unlike carbon, its resistance to vibrations is lower. And indeed it is felt on the ground when the tripod is completely unfolded. A piece of advice therefore, do not hesitate to reduce the top to improve the durability of the equipment. I was able to use this tripod with a 1Dx and a 200 1.8 without any problems even when placing everything in landscape mode. Yet it was not won because this set weighs more than 4kgs.
Regarding the weight of this tripod precisely: it is a good success for aluminum because I have about 100g the same weight as for my benro C265M8 in carbon and which does not go up as high. Added to that an extremely well built carrying case (a VERY good point! with good closures, quality stitching and a well thought out design of handles and strap). Frankly a lot of more expensive brands don't do as well.
But hey, nothing is perfect from perfect, and as said given the low asking price it was necessary to make a small concession. And for me the biggest difficulty was not to find a short column in the floor. Results ? In normal use the minimum height is approximately 30cm. It's not bad, of course, but for anyone looking to lie down on the ground, it's still too much.
In short, we are close to perfection with this tripod given the asking price! Now, on a personal level, I use it mainly for quiet outings for which I won't need a heavy tripod with a video ball head... but sometimes a tripod can save an image from difficult conditions... and this model does the job perfectly: versatile, light, transportable, very large without forgetting that it uses universal standard arca bindings! Highly recommended therefore!
And to illustrate my words, I add a small photo taken the evening of writing my test. On photo output, at nightfall... this tripod saved my day because it would have been impossible to take this image of a heron without a support (long exposure of almost 2 seconds with 1Dx + 200 1.8!)
Very happy then! And once again this little unknown brand with a bright future in my opinion!

I have only been practicing photography for a few months and, not knowing the equipment well yet, I had a lot of trouble making the right choice of a tripod. For me, two elements were essential: stability and solidity. Stability to avoid an imbalance and therefore a fall resulting in breakage and solidity so that it can support the device and the weight of a lens, which together quickly becomes substantial. This tripod meets my expectations. I wouldn't say it's light as a feather but not too heavy either, plus it has a nice sturdy little carry bag with a strap. It is versatile and easy to handle. I consider it a good buy.

I have already reviewed one of the products of the "K&F Concept" brand, it was a neutral gray variable ND filter which convinced me to buy again from this brand. So I ordered and received this tripod, first impression when opening the package was the packaging which gave the impression of buying a luxury product, really! So I hasten to open the box to see what it was hiding, and I discover a travel bag for the tripod, which is of excellent quality, super beautiful, sober and gives a professional look. I open the bag and discover the tripod, it is made of a material that is really solid and provides stability of the device once attached. The tripod can be high, very high: I am 1m73, once at the max, he must reach 1m80 I would say. I plan to go on a trek with it and I was afraid that it would be big and heavy when "stored" but in reality, it is easy to use and stores just as easily, it becomes almost tiny when folded. In addition, the huge advantage is that it is not heavy at all! In short, I strongly recommend this tripod for its more than interesting value for money!

Completely sufficient for my areas of application is also very easy to transport. I can recommend it. Can be used well!

My first tripod I received, one of the locking pieces on the leg was broken. It was replaced no problem so I could try it with my lighting set up. They work great! It extends long enough and holds the lighting and/or my camera greatly! One of the legs detaches for a “monopod”, but I like the one I bought better. Will buy again since I don’t need to spend $200 on one tripod when I can get a quality product like this for less than 1/2 that.

I have had several tripods in my life time, but none quiet like the K&F Concepts 78 inch tripod with the 360 Degree Ball Head. After reading the enclosed paperwork (1 small sheet of paper) I went onto YouTube and watched some vids on the tripod. Even the Ken Franks website was very informative also.
So far I have not found any "cons" on the tripod. I have taken photos in every position you can imagine, I even tried the "hanging the camera" upside down and got some great close ups of ants, bugs, spiders and yes even grass.
Living in the South at this particular time outdoor shooting is based on the weather. I cant wait to get out and do some landscapes and see the results.
If you are looking for a tripod for you camera that is of outstanding quality without breaking the bank, I highly recommend this tripod. I got the 78 inch version due to being 6 foot 3 inches.
Ken does have other styles and heights. Check them out. You won't go wrong!

I replaced my first starter tripod with this one and I am very glad I did. I have used it for astrophotography, long exposure at waterfalls, and other landscape photography. I carried it hiking at Glacier national Park as well as a couple other state parks near me. It is not the lightest tripod, but it's not bad. I had never used a ball head before and am still getting the hang of that, but it is certainly very versatile. It has done just fine on wet rocks and uneven surfaces in the various places I've used it including a running creek. I've not used the monopod function and have never had to weight it but it's an option with this tripod. Overall I have been very satisfied with this tripod.

Likes: sturdy and very configurable for changing needs
Didn't try yet: converting to a monopod
Dislikes: the bubble level is on the camera mount itself and not on the tripod or ball mount interface. so if everything below the camera is not level, when you rotate the 360 mount, the camera goes out of level
People complained about the ball head falling off in other reviews. That was all down to user error. One just needs to tighten the ball mount down against the tripod body and everything is night and secure.
