67mm Magnetic UV Filter Ultra Slim with Multi Coated Ultraviolet Protection Lens Filter with Cleaning Cloth Nano-Klear Series
SKU: KF01.2646
K&F Concepts have been my go-to for lens filters lately. I find they have a good balance of quality and price. This one is no different. I really like the idea of a magnetic filter system, but haven't invested in one yet. These UV filters would be a good place to start. To be clear, these filters need to be screwed onto a lens, and then any additional filters can use the magnetized metal of the filter to stack. I misread that at first, but it makes sense. Most systems require a magnetized ring to start. This has the benefits of UV filtering. It's a great option if that's what you're after.

Fits my Sigma 30 and is very clear. Literally so clear, um... yeah, I touched it to make sure the glass was there. Then I had to clean it and it was a whole thing. Don't tell anyone. But yeah, seems very well made and a big improvement over the scratch filter I was using.

UV filters (also called haze filters) are an essential part of the kit for every single lens you have. They generally have little to no noticeable impact on image quality while protecting the external elements of your lens from dust, dirt, and damage. This filter does the job. Don't worry about it being 'magnetic' - that's just an added bonus, and I can imagine it being pretty useful - it has standard threads and will fit modern Sony lenses with an OEM lens hood built in. I can imagine the magnetic feature could come in handy when stacking or quickly changing filters, and you can always clip it on for longer shots.

It's pretty amazing to me that you can get an 82mm UV filter with 18 layers of coating for only $20. As far as I can tell, there is no loss of contrast or color shift. If anything, you may experience different reflection patterns at certain angles (which I'm a fan of) and will experiment with that. A UV filter not only protects your lens, but also makes the front element waterproof. And if you've had a chance to play around with magnetic filters before, it works just fine with those too. I plan on buying a few more of these so I always have them on my lenses so I can swap/stack my other magnetic filters in seconds. Highly recommend!

This is mostly just a screw-on UV filter. I think it will work with the other magnetic filter accessories K&F has on the market. I love K&F filters. They are high quality and hold up well. In the event that they break, you won't have lost hundreds of dollars.

One thing that was recommended to me a long time ago was to use good but cheap UV filters as lens protection. Pretty much get one and then just leave it on until it's thrown away. That's my goal with this one for my Canon 80D lens. I'm also a bit worried about scratching my optics as I'm a bit rough with everything I own. This gives me peace of mind that I'm not going to break anything by just leaving it on a workbench. I don't tend to use filters enough to mess with the magnetic feature but if that option is available that may change. I just don't see where I would need to quickly swap out the filters for things like astrophotography. :) Came well packaged and sealed and arrived undamaged. Doesn't seem to cause any issues with my images which is also a problem with aftermarket filters. The 80D already has a built in UV filter in the sensor assembly so there's no added benefit in my case. So, decent filter that doesn't hinder photos as far as I can tell.

As a passionate amateur photographer, I am always looking for accessories that will enhance my equipment (Nikon full-frame camera with various Nikon lenses) and improve my shots. I recently opted for the K&F Concept UV Filter 72mm, which was available for €19.99 in May 2024. The magnetic attachment and multi-coating in particular sounded promising, and I was curious to see how this filter would perform in practice. The K&F Concept UV Filter made a solid impression right from unpacking. The glass looks high-quality and the multi-coating seems to be well made. The magnetic attachment is an interesting feature that makes changing the filter extremely easy and quick. The filter comes in sturdy packaging that protects it from scratches and bumps. Installing the filter was child's play. Thanks to the magnetic design, I was able to easily attach the filter to my lens and quickly remove it again when needed. This feature is particularly useful when you are on the go and need to quickly switch between different filters. The filter sits firmly and securely without having to worry about it accidentally falling off. In practice, the K&F Concept UV filter has lived up to my expectations. I tested the filter in both sunny weather and diffuse lighting conditions and was very happy with the results. The UV filter effectively reduces ultraviolet rays and ensures clearer and sharper images. Especially in situations with strong sunlight, I noticed a significant improvement in image quality as the filter reduced the unwanted glare. Compared to other UV filters I have used so far, the K&F Concept UV filter offers excellent value for money. The magnetic attachment is a unique feature that sets the filter apart from many other products. Although there are more expensive options on the market that may offer even better optical performance, this filter is only slightly inferior to them and is really convincing for the price. After intensive use, the filter shows no scratches or signs of wear. The multi-coating seems to be very durable and is easy to clean. The filter has proven to be robust and durable, making it a good choice for regular outdoor photography. Conclusion: The K&F Concept UV Filter 72mm Magnetic Optical Glass with Multi-Coating is an excellent addition to any camera equipment. It offers easy handling thanks to the magnetic attachment, excellent image quality and is also very inexpensive. This filter is a worthwhile investment, especially for amateur photographers who are looking for a cost-effective solution to improve their photos. 5/5 stars.

In summary, the UV filter is an excellent choice for photographers who want to protect their lens without compromising on image quality. First of all: you should always install a UV filter just to protect the outer lens from dust, sand, grease, water and dirt, unless you only work indoors. At least I am one of those people who have a UV filter screwed onto every lens. This can be easily removed and cleaned if it gets dirty, and even replaced if necessary, but the lens cannot. The UV filter also improves the light and color representation when taking pictures outdoors, e.g. in the sky or in trees and leaves. The thread diameter of the lens is usually printed on the lens. About the product: Flawless glass, no inclusions or defects visible. High-quality metal design, practical grooved edge (fine). Pleasantly thin (5.3 mm with, 3.2 mm without thread) Multi-coated glass, 18 layers is a very good value. I have used UV filters from Gobe, Hoya and Rollei so far and would rate this product as very good and high quality. The price is also ok, you should budget 10-20 euros for a good UV filter.
