Canon has a put a firmware block on these batteries. When installed in an R5ii you’ll see an error message and then the camera will not function at all.

The performance is right and charging via USB-C also works wonderfully. In addition, the batteries do not get as warm during operation as the original Canon batteries... Top

Tried using it and it last longer and the Canon original. The USB charging is great. May be Canon should use the same charging. The battery does not get warm or hot while charging or even if I leave it connected to the USB charging cable for 24 hours.
Will be having some major photo shoots. Will update if there are issues.

You can plug these batteries directly into usb c charger making them very easy to charge they last well and are highly recommended

Works with R5, R6 MII and R, great part Some batteries cause problems, this one doesn't ;-)

Being able to plug the USB-C cable directly into the battery without lugging a charger around is a game-changer! Used these batteries on an African safari recently. They performed flawlessly in my Canon 90D. Brilliant concept! Strongly recommend these batteries!

The battery life is exceptional, even longer than the original batteries. The absence of consumption at rest ('zero battery drain') is a great advantage, and charging via USB-C is really convenient and versatile, perfect for those who are always on the move. Absolutely recommended!

... than the original, more capacity but not quite 2600mAh. on the counter ,2475mAh. no detection problem on eos series R.

It works Charging via USB cable also works, saving you having to bring the original camera charger if you have the mobile phone charger with you anyway. However, the original batteries in the camera can also be charged with the mobile phone charger, but then you can't use the camera for so long.
