As always K&F have done it again with a simple but effective UV filter that is easy to attach and use. The lens filter has a lens cap pre-attached to keep the outside clean when attaching and there is a nice chunky grip to assist with screwing on to the lens. The cleaning cloth is shipped in a sealed bag to prevent any dust and dirt getting on the cloth when you open the package before you use it. The hand strap is a little fiddly to attach as the hole on the lens cap is a little tight and small. The Included lens cap is great as the threads are a little more pronounced and this means it will "bite" the filter better when attached to protect it from scratches.

The UV filter comes in a nice case with a cloth and lens caps with strap. The filter fits my Canon 50mm- 200mm EF-M perfectly. The filter is great to help protect your lens whilst it also protects your camera from UV exposure. For the price of the lens, I think it's a great value for money and I would highly recommend it.

This UV filter is well made and feels very good quality, it threads nicely onto the lens with no issues. The included lens cap is also good quality and the additional lanyard means you shouldn’t lose it. Image quality is unaffected, in fact the filter is so transparent and low-reflection that it is barely visible. Whether you specifically need a UV filter or just want to add protection to an expensive lens this is a quality option at a sensible price.

Got this to help protect my lens when doing photography. Since I'm using a polariser I ned to have the lens hood off most of the time when I'm shooting, This UV filter is good for an extra layer of protection. It is a fairly good product for a good price. Not much else to say about this as UV filters aren't needed as much with modern cameras, so they are more used as protection in case you drop the camera.

Overall a good UV filter for a fairly good price.

I have got lots of K&F stuff, and it always seems to offer very good "bang for buck". It's good value at its price point, and of good quality. And this is no different. I certainly have no worries using this to protect my lens.

This is a great filter. I already use KF Concept filters in other sizes, so I was happy to get ones for my larger lens. Easy to fit, no problems with them.

We got the 52mm filter and lens cap for my husband’s Canon M50 with a 200mm lens, and it fits perfectly.

It all feels very good quality, and he has had no issues with it.

Recommended!

The UV filter is very well made, a slim metal rim with with a scratch free pane of glass.

There's a slight bluish tint when held at angle from the optical coating but is invisible in the optical train when in use and doesn't introduce any optical defects like extra reflections or chromatic aberration or astigmatism.

These filters always raise eyebrows to the point of parody, look at any video online about UV filters and read the comments.

Personally i am in the middle of the debate. I wouldn't use one permanently attached to my camera lens as your camera doesn't need a filter to filter UV but i would use one in a volatile environment like a beach where wind can blow sand to protect a lens from being scratched and for that, its perfect.

I've used K&F filters previously and was looking for something to protect my front element from getting inadvertently scratched. After all, glass can be the most expensive part of your photography kit. This has gone onto a Zoom lens which I rarely use other filters on, a 24-205mm zoom with a 77mm thread. The reason why I mention this is that if you intend to use filters a lot, and are using wider zooms (in the 16-24mm range), I know vignetting can occur even with two filters attached. So on my wide angles, I normally have either a CPL or ND filter as I'm capturing sunsets/waterfall landscapes and an additional UV filter wouldn't be of use.

But for a walkaround lens, something like this will protect your front lens element from scratching with minimal light loss. I'm using Sony G lenses on a full-frame 61MP camera, and I've not really noticed any loss of resolution, sharpness, or a bad colour cast with this filter. As an entry-level filter for 90% of users, it offers great protection. If you are a professional photographer, who relies on your photography for a living, I'm sure that you would find better alternatives at a greatly increased cost, but for most beginners and amateurs (I'd consider myself after 9 years, an "amateur enthusiast") it's perfectly fine.

The included cloth is fine, but honestly, I've got so many, I'm not sure I'd use it. The spare cap and lanyard works well, yes, it fits the filter perfectly and it's always nice to have a spare. But the important thing is how it affects images and I saw no negative impact at all.

So, overall, good value, entry-level protection for beginners and amateurs that won't have a major negative impact on your images.
