Didn’t buy it as a pro, just a cheap hobbyist. It is well built, on par with another manfroto cheap one I have. Not the lightest thing in word but its good enough. Feel like I got more than my money’s worth which is saying a lot these days.

I was amazed at how high this thing goes. I'm 5'11", and if I put it all the way up, the bottom of the camera is about at the top of my head. I guess I need not worry about it being a bit short. The quick releases for the legs are a bit tight yet, but I'm sure they'll loosen up over time. They're very snug; there's no chance any section is going to slide. The screw at the top accepts the standard quick release system if you choose to use that for your camera. I put one on mine. It literally took a few seconds to screw it into place. There's a screw at the bottom that protrudes out of the rubber foot if you simply spin the rubber foot up a bit. That makes for a good grip outdoors. Be sure to move the rubber foot back down before using this on a floor. It comes with a handy wrist strap built into the end of the monopod, and the carrying bag has its own shoulder strap. That should come in handy, too.Completely collapsed, it measures just a bit over 21". I'd say carrying it in its bag over your shoulder should be very easy especially considering its light weight. All in all, definitely worth the price. Very solid, well built, and should last a long time. kf concept Basics wins again!

Good for light wieght cameras, gopro etc.. 1/4" on top is too short wasn't long enough to attach a couple other action cams I have. They should make it adjustable so you can choose length and tighten according.

I used this to hold some budget lighting for my stream. I am often running these up and down to get my lighting where i want it and breaking down at the end of my stream to keep my desk area looking neat when not used for streaming they take a little bit of abuse always being adjusted up and down but it does what i need it to do. I've even marked on them with a paint pen to know exactly where i want to them to keep my lighting right. definitely a good monopod for just about anything not just stream lighting.

Great for use in learning technique and for hobbiest. It’s a little unbalanced when I have my biggest lens (70-200) with teleconverter on my T5 with battery pack on it, but it is still manageable to shoot with. Good value in my opinion.

There are horrible spots all over the zippered case. This is a replacement because the first one monopod had a splotched case. This one is worse. Is it mold? Problems with nastiness of case but the monopod is great.

Provides perfect stabilization for my very light camcorder. It's got additional uses as well. Use as a walking stick on the trail, but don't overdue it cause he ain't that sturdy. Also, when completely folded it makes an excellent billy club, that even a NY cop would approve of. In this day an age having this guy as a weapon out on the trail is not a small thing.

This is my first (and only) monopod, which I picked up for shooting video with a Panasonic FZ-1000. While I certainly would have loved to purchase an aluminum monopod with a ball head, I couldn't justify, so instead settled for a bargain price from kf concept's reliable house brand.I'm impressed. With nothing to compare it to -- other than a conventional tripod -- it certainly isn't as heavy as I might have expected it to be, based on some reviews I've read of the lightweight aluminum models. The construction seems about average quality, with nothing remarkable to cite and with a slight wobble/flex between the sections, but the friction locks all clamp securely, the grip is large and secure, the rubber foot with the retractable spike works well in the dirt, and it comes with a durable woven nylon storage case.If you're like me and unsure of the value of a monopod, I don't hesitate to recommend this before deciding to spend more coin on a nicer model. For me and my amateur purposes, this seems "good enough," though maybe at some point I'll add a ball head for extra flexibility in panning shots.
