Been looking for a monopod/boom for my speedlite and came across this one. The reviews were good, so I ordered it over the rest of the higher priced name brand ones. I am very pleased with the purchase! It is light weight yet made of nicely crafted materials with the handle padded and the foot with a spike that you can screw to retract it. It extends to a nice distance so I can hang my light overhead. It comes with a nice carrying case and a shoulder strap too.Overall it is a nice pole that is exactly what I am looking for. When I need a second pole, I will get exactly the same one.

I purchased to replace one I have been using for a long time. I use a tripod attachment for my cell phone to obtain photos from a higher viewpoint. The store no longer sells this product, so I turned to kf concept. This has kf concept stamped on the pole. Its lighter and thinner than my original telescopic camera pole which can be an issue on windy days. Overall, it does not affect my use unless the wind picks up.The lock latch are tight and secured. Although it feels cheaper than the original, I have no complaints about the performance. It comes with a nice carry case for storage and tote.

I needed a monopod real quick so I brought a manfroto compact monopod. I didn't like it at all. The extended pieces were wobbly. I didn't even have to put my camera on it. I rushed and got this one and it was perfect. The build and sturdiness was perfect. And worked out very well for me.

I thought I lost my Manfrotto 290 and got this as replacement. Found the old stick, made of metal, but I don't think I will use it very often. This one is carbon fiber, so lighter and it goes super high. I am 6'2 and can't see through the viewfinder when it is all the way up. It comes in a little bag with a shoulder strap and the tip has a rubber wheel to protect floors. One little criticism, the hand strap that comes on the pod itself is ridiculously small and the plastic part it is attached to probably will not last very long. I think that it is a good buy for the price since it is easy to lose these.

Honestly no real complaints. I don't really like the locking tabs but I'm nitpicking.

Serviceable monopod and great walking stick, and there are two per package!I use this as a walking stick with my small fixed lens camera attached with a small ball-head during my daily walk-abouts. I keep the other stick in the car for the occasional roadside shot with the larger bodied D40 DSLR when I don't have time to set up the tripod. The foot has an ingenious design that allows for a pointed tip to be exposed when needed, or concealed by an adjustable rubber tip for use on hard surfaces. These are lightweight and extend from 21" to 63". The cam locks seem to be sufficient and lock securely.I have replaced the wrist strap with something larger and longer for more ease of use.I've only got about 10 miles on the walk-about stick but it is holding up well, but I don't really use it that rough either, i.e. as a hiking pole.

It's great for my gimbal, but extending each section all the way causes a bit of wobble. Backing it off an inch solved it.

This monopod is 1,000 easier to carry than my tripod. Perfect to carry when on a hike or driving around. Allows for very fast setup and provides a steady mount for telephoto shots. I'm seriously considering getting rid of my tripod. By the way, the quality of the kf concept Basics Monopod is fantastic. The only improvement would have been if they included a $50 bill with it. Okay, a $100 bill would have been better. it comes in a nice case which makes for easy storage. I'm very pleased with my purchase!

The case needs more attachment loops so it doesn't bang around while hiking.
