My daughter said she wanted a microscope for her birthday so I have been grabbing thing here and there like slides and such. I tried them on one of my microscopes and they work well and clear.

This works really well and was easy to get the hang of. It definitely helps us see little writing much easier, so we have been very happy with this.

I love this product. I am very happy with my purchase. The product arrived undamaged, which is always a plus to note as well. The container for the slides is very heavy duty and does not allow for movement like some cases do. The slides are color coded, which I like. Also, the slides show two pieces of information on either side. One side tells what you are looking at, and the other side shows a picture of the full specimen. I like this because it helps our younger budding scientists get a visual for what they are viewing. The slides themselves are also heavy duty and good quality. I really like this product. Overall, I rate this product 5 out of 5 stars.

My husband is a middle school science teacher. I got these for him to use in his classroom. This is a good set of varied organisms for students to explore. The slides are distinctive enough to be easily seen through a microscope and durable enough that they seem to be unbreakable even with student use.

Tip: to prevent blurry photos when pressing the photo button (sometimes the camera will shake), you can use computer communication.

And the computer recognizes as a webcam, so you dont need to look for drivers, its seamless even on a Mac using PhotoBooth.

This is a good set of colorful slides. Easy to read what they are, and they are clear and look detailed with the microscope.

This is perfect for the collector. It is easy to use, quick to setup and nice to be able to save the images. I am thrilled with this.

If they had suggested this was a good microscope for anything other than flat stuff, I would have given it 4 stars. It is a very nice microscope at this price point, but it's not the best thing if you want to look at non-flat stuff. I tend to use my microscope with electronics stuff. Reading numbers off chips, and stuff like that, and it is fine for doing that task.

The included memory card is real (it doesn't clam it's bigger than it really is), and I did a proper test on it. Being able to use this microscope, and take pictures, without being tied to a computer is awesome. And if you do want to connect it to your computer, and use it like a webcam, you can do that too, so you get the best of both worlds. I didn't pay real close attention to how long the battery lasted, for how long I used it, but my feeling is it should have lasted longer than it did. I may pop open the case, and see about replacing the battery with a bigger one.

My only real complaint, is I feel it should have more up/down control. My other USB microscope, has a knob that will travel the entire length of it's support pole. And I don't like that it has two knobs, one to adjust it, and one to lock it. I feel it should have had one knob, and enough friction to keep it where you set it, but that may not be as easy to do as I think it is, with the additional weight of the display. And while I do wish this aspect was different, I'm not going to take off any stars, because it does the job, and is fine for looking at flat things, as the listing says.

I absolutely love this Coin Microscope! It is easy to set up after charging. I spent several hours just looking at coins that were in my wallet. Then I decided to connect to my laptop. That took a little time to figure it out but once I did it was amazing to see it on a 17" screen. I am an amateur coin collector, but I have always had an interest and have a stash of coins I have collected over the years. I have many different magnifying glasses to see the intricacies of each coin, but NONE are as good as this. I am sure there are more expensive magnifying units like this with enlarged screens that are probably better but as a novice, this works for me. Also, This has a Camera & Video - unit comes with a micro SD card so its ready to take a photo of each coin you look at! Once connected to your PC you can take photos from the laptop view as well. There is still so much more that I want to explore with this, but for now- I absolutely love it!
