This is awesome! Works at first sunlight and closes when it gets dark! Has saved me so much time and makes it nice for when we go on vacations.

It’s simple to set up and install. The material of the door is a little thicker than other chicken doors I have used. This one is electric. There is no battery option which comes with the pros and cons. I like to unplug my coop in the summer. That’s the downside. It appears to work as it’s supposed to.

I got this to see how it would work and to add it to a project that is still in progress. I haven't mounted it yet, but I took it out of the box and tried it out to check it. It seems to be able to work just fine and will be a nice addition. I don't expect any problems, but will update if that changes after actual mount and use.

This was a simple door to install and easy to program. Love that it has a remote I can use when needed.

I like that this door is at least made out of aluminum. I have a plastic one and it just doesn't make me feel it is strong enough.
We live next to the wilderness and have every kind of predator you can imagine.
Granted, if they want into our pen, nothing will keep some of them out, but this should keep the foxes, skunks, raccoons and possums out at night when they are most active.
If another bear shows up, nothing will keep him out if he wants in but we can minimizer small predator damage with this door.
This door is capable of either wired or battery power. You set the clock, set open and close time and door run time. If you cut runtime you can make the door open less for smaller birds.
I like this metal door much better than the plastic door and will be anxious to see it working on our pen.

I installed this on my chicken coop and it makes things so much more convenient. I like that it can operate on either batteries or a power adapter/plug. I enjoy that I can set what time it opens and closes rather than just opening at sun up and closing at sun down as I have dogs that don’t play well with the chickens and we need to make sure they aren’t out together until we get a run built for the chickens. It was easy to install and is easy to program. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It is made from good quality materials and I’m sure it will last many years. Recommended

This has SAVED US! We have 6 chickens in a coop quite a ways away from our house. It is a real hassle to go out and open and close the coop at night and in the morning. This opens EVERY day with the sunrise and closes with the sunset with no issues. I feel the chickens are very safe from predators and it is so nice that they chickens are protected and happy in their coop at night!

I like the design, easy to install and figure out how to work. But the coop is under the shade of a large tree and the solar timed feature is just not working as well for me. But when it’s full under full sun, it works great! There is also a manual tune feature if there is not enough Sun. You can use the buttons on the solar panel to open and close the doors without having to go into your run. It’s a good size for the chickens and haven’t had them hit by the door.
