I haven't gotten to install this yet but pre testing seems to work well. i just tried out the dust and dawn open and closing and it works well.
seems to be a lighter build then some of the oher coop doors i have reviewed so i don't know for sure how sturdy it will be in the long run with as many birds as i have but i think it would be fine for a small backyard flock

The door was a piece of cake to install, and works great when using the timer functions and remote. I love that there's a solar panel so I don't have to plug it in. The light sensor isn't great, and if used, will close the door before dusk. Using the timer/remote is a convenient enough workaround though.

Set up and operation are a breeze. Directions are clear and easy to understand. Just be sure it stays charged!!

I put it up in my chicken coop and it really improves the comfort level. What I love about it is that it can run on batteries or be plugged into a power adapter. The best part is that I can customize the opening and closing times, so it's not just limited to sunrise and sunset. This is important because my dog and chickens don't get along, and I need to ensure they stay separate. We have a dedicated coop for the chickens, so it works perfectly. Setting it up was a breeze, and programming it was a piece of cake. The instructions were crystal clear and easy to follow. Plus, it's made from top-notch materials, so I'm confident it'll last for years to come.

these doors worked the first few days just fine, but they are a little hit or miss now. I guess the idea is nice but not always reliable. They were easy enough to install though.

Great chicken coop door so far, works well as intended. Its made of a thin aluminum metal but sturdy and heavy operating system above the door, it has a nice sized solar panel and a remote control, timer and light sensor as well as a remote control to operate the door. So far it's working good, the timer works well though I generally use the remote control to open and close the door for the chickens to go in and out. The solar panel does provide power but not enough to run really well so I've had to power it via the backup battery. Would recommend, really happy with it so far.
