This fingerprint lock doorknob solves the problem of keeping our special needs children out of our bedroom. This maintains a nice border and keeps them safe. The fingerprint technology was easy to use and synchronized. In our older home we had more difficulty fitting the hardware into a 1920s door, but with a few adjustments it works. It took some time to sync the app with the Handle the first time, but now everything runs smoothly and we LOVE this product. I will definitely be purchasing more for the pantry and cleaning supplies closet to ensure the kids' safety!

After locking myself out of my house, I decided it was time to upgrade my locks to smart devices. I wanted a door lock that enabled fingerprint and PIN. The positive features of this lock are: *Fingerprint reader *Passcode PIN *Physical keys for backup *Backup power supply via USB ensures that it will not lock even if the batteries are empty (and it is the current USB-C, not micro socket ) *Smartphone APP , which can be very helpful in programming (multiple pin registration, fingerprints, temporary codes, auto lock, other functions). The installation instructions were good. The lock and door handle appear solid, without wobbling or play in movement, as was the case with other handles. The app works well and makes registering fingerprints and pins easier than programming with codes on the lock. The fingerprint reader works relatively well, but sometimes you have to hold your finger in place longer or move and reset it a few times to accept it. I wish it was a little better/more accurate, but it's not bad. Maybe try re-registering a different print (the same finger), which sometimes helps. Auto-locking occurs within a few seconds, which is safe but sometimes annoying (although you can change the setting if necessary). I've seen a few reviews saying the lock is worthless and any fingerprint can unlock it, which was a concern before purchasing. However, this is a security feature and is clearly stated in the instructions: If PINs and fingerprints are not registered correctly, each fingerprint can be activated to prevent you from being locked out. You MUST register these pins/fingerprints correctly before the lock can work! I can't currently say how long the batteries will last or how often the lock will be used, the auto lock mode etc makes any claim meaningless. Mine has been working for 2 months (with constant auto-lock) and unlocks multiple times a day with no problems so far. I like the door handle lock because of its color selection and fair price for the many features that all work well.

This castle is exactly what I was looking for. The installation was very easy. I had already drilled the hole and was in the process of replacing a doorknob so I didn't have to do that, but it had instructions on the details. Installation and setup was very easy. I was able to do it without the instructions, although I checked them at the end to confirm everything went well as I was confused about something. If you have ever installed a doorknob, you can do this easily. It's the perfect size and perfect for opening the door with your thumb. It feels like it's well made and made of good materials. The fingerprint scanner is super accurate. I recommend the version with the app activated as it makes a loud, fairly intense beep when unlocked. However, the app allows you to disable this. I purchased the app version and setup was incredibly easy. I managed to add my husband as an admin as well with very little effort. If I had to object, it would be that if you have the auto-lock feature disabled, you apparently have to use the app to lock the door. I wish there was a way to lock it when I leave without using my phone. If there is a way to do this, I'm definitely missing it somehow.

Easy to install and use. Feels very durable. And I love the way you can access it with your finger, an app or a real key.

My husband installed this in my closet for me. It's a slim and classy handle and works very well! He was happy that the installation was easy.

My son recently moved into an off-campus house with lots of kids coming and going. We assumed that installing this lock would cause problems, but we managed to do it in no time. It's also easy to use, all he has to do is enter his number and there is a hardware key in case he forgets his passcode. The instructions were easy to follow and he also set up the fingerprint feature which is even better. The fingerprint feature works fantastically and there is no need to remember passcodes. It can use all three input functions. Just a reminder: you must purchase 4 AAA batteries for the features to work and the locks to be programmed.

If you have teenagers who like to borrow your shoes or other things and just forgot to mention it, then this lock is for you! Installation was a breeze like any other doorknob. I couldn't figure out how to set up the prints manually using the handle alone, but using the app it was really easy. I can do multiple prints/views for each person I want and the app will show you when that person opened the door (although this feature isn't required, I haven't given the shoe rental companies access). Overall, we like the fact that it auto-locks in seconds so it's locked when you close the door. You don't have to wait or complete it. (The inside of the door is always unlocked, the outside of the door is always locked). I have already recommended it to some friends, we love this thing
