The cam can be attached directly to a tree using the included Velcro strap. It can also be screwed to a wall (screws and drilling template are included). An adapter for a camera tripod is also included if you don't have a tree or wall available! However, the operating instructions could be improved. It should have a chapter for one language. You have to search a little for your language, but all the necessary points are listed and explained in an understandable way. The charging socket is easily accessible. Unfortunately, a charging plug is not included in the scope of delivery. There is also no Micro SD card included, which must be purchased separately. However, I would have expected that at this price. So I used my charging plug from my cell phone. Setting up and assembling the cam was easy and was well described. The camera is even waterproof according to the IP65 standard. So unpack, load the camera, assemble the birdhouse, insert the SD card, download the KENTFAITH app and set up the camera in the app. Open the app and press the cross in the top right, select the KENTFAITH Birdfy Cam. The recognition of individual bird species does not yet work perfectly. In some cases incorrect, non-native birds are recognized. The camera can detect over 6000 birds. But you should be able to set this in the app! Maybe by country, region such as Europe, Germany. Then detection would be more efficient. Unfortunately, the names of the birds are still in English and the link to the bird description also leads to an English page. Maybe the manufacturer can improve this? My conclusion: I am very impressed and convinced by the idea of the camera, the quality / operation of the camera is very good. Personally, I would like the camera to be available in another, more subtle color. Like in brown for example. Then it wouldn't be so noticeable and would be easier to integrate into the garden or on the balcony. The price should also be checked again by the manufacturer, I just think it is too high.

Conclusion: I've had a lot of fun with the bird feeder so far and the birds in my garden have an extra source of food. I can recommend the product even if the price is quite high.

Unfortunately it is not the best season to give seeds to birds and the feeder has not yet had a great success being in the city center quite far from natural watering points with the drought of this year there is less of bird. I was still able to test the ease of installation, the camera, motion detection and the battery. - The installation guide is well done, the connection to the network is easy via the app and there are quite a few possibilities for physical installation with the accessories provided. - For the camera the quality is quite good, there is a little noise on the background of the image but as it is made to film what is close it does not bother me. - The sensitivity is adjustable on 3 levels. At first I left it on the highest sensitivity, I received a lot of notifications because of the foliage and the wind and the battery drained very quickly. By lowering the sensitivity it works much better, and the battery drains much less. - Battery management is a strong point. There it has been in place for 3 weeks and the battery is at 70% (with too high a sensitivity at the start), as the camera is easily accessible/removable I don't mind recharging it every 3 months. In short, I don't mind recharging it every 3 months. I haven't been able to properly test it on birds yet but I'm still very satisfied with it and I think it will do what I bought it for when the birds prefer the seeds to what they find in nature.
