I’ve gotten some awesome pictures and videos on this camera. The value is great. This camera won’t break the bank and it functions perfectly. The battery life is good, I’ve left it out for a month and came back to half battery. Sensitivity is good, give it a wide field of view and plenty of time to pick up movement. And make sure there’s no pesky leaves in front of it setting it off every 10 seconds. I would buy more of these cameras!

I am revising my original review and giving the camera five stars. Here is why: There is nothing wrong with the camera. Instead, its memory card was defective. I installed a new name-brand card and 100-percent of the pictures turned out perfectly! I'm pleased.

Now, back to the original review:

I am delighted with the daytime pictures taken by this unit. They are sharp and the colors are true. The night shots are every bit as good as those taken by a much more expensive trail camera.

That's the good.

Quite a few frames were only partially recorded at the top and the rest of the frame was blank. I don't know if it is caused by the camera or a poor memory card; so, today I installed a new one of known quality. At any rate, as time went by the problem lessened a great deal.

The door/battery compartment fastens to the tripod. When the unit is opened the whole camera swings. That's a little bit unhandy; but, I can live with it.

So far, it has been out in the rain and snow and it has not leaked. That said, considering some of the complaints about it I may fashion a cover to provide added protection--just in case.

A person gets what they pay for. One cannot expect Cadillac performance at a junker price. :-)

I am not disappointed as long as it keeps working the way it has been.

Battery life last almost month on pic/video. I turned video off though now. Everytime I go by that camera I swap the SD card if I'm hunting, or if I'm scouting I bring this cheap SD reader I connect to my phone. I can't seem to get video part to play back on phone or laptop, but will play back on the actual camera.
Button clicks on the camera are pretty loud in the woods.

This is an excellent camera and an excellent seller. See photos - first is a daytime; second a night-vision. I had a problem with mine, very close to the end of the 1-year warranty. Their customer service was responsive and detailed - and it was clear that the response was directly to the issues I had, not just a rote response. They honored the warranty and replaced the camera after the troubleshooting problems did not fix the issues. I would highly recommend them. And the camera is AWESOME. I have been thrilled with it. It's pretty easy to set up and very easy to use thereafter.

Camera shoots up to an incredible 40 MP. I was surprised to find it comes with EVERYTHING needed to use - including a 64GB SD card and alkaline batteries. It has a color screen inside the unit that can be used to customize the setup and view photos/videos right on the device. The case is sturdy, has a good quality gasket, and closes securely. It can be mounted with the included tree strap, or a little bracket with wood screw threads on one end; the other end screws into the base of the camera. It does NOT support wireless data transmission. You either pull the SD card and use that, or connect via an included USB cable.

48MP 4K Trail Camera: Found this trail camera easy to set up. The instruction book provides good direction and explanation of options. Everything operated as intended. The unit feels solid and will hold up to outdoor use. After a rainy night, the interior was completely dry when I checked the next morning. The pictures attached to this review were taken at 4:09 a.m. Sunrise was at 5:43 a.m., you can see how well it captured my horses in the early hours of the day. Since I have not yet decided where I want to locate this, I left the protective film on the lens and sensor and it still took great shots. This was also on the 5 MP setting, there are 6 higher quality settings above this level. This unit provides default settings and many options beyond those, so you can set it up to meet a variety of needs.

It was easy to review the photos on the camera itself and on the computer via the provided USB cord and SD card. It was good to note security screening found no issues with either the device or the SD card. Everything you need to get started is included in the box. Nice unit!

First trail cam for me and glad I held off on picking up a more expensive one. This kit has everything you need to get going and capturing those night time and day time images when you're not able to be 'there'.

Camera came nicely packaged and including batteries, memory card, usb cable, and fastening strap. Controls are on the inside of the unit - note that you can disable the noise when choosing your settings.

Something also worth mentioning is that the directions for this unit specifically recommend against using rechargeable batteries and seem to only recommend alkaline batteries - not sure why, as I prefer rechargeable NiCad batteries for something that will use batteries often.

I think I might pick up one or two more of these as I am so impressed with what I've seen so far.

It shoots high quality photos and comes with what you need in order to get it working out of the box. The 64 Gb SD card worked well. Setup is a little finicky. I am way too literal and translated manuals from Asia drive me nuts. In this case, the manual is better than most I've seen. I've only used this camera for two days in photo mode without sound.
So far, the performance is very good. The first night, a strange masked visitor appeared. My only real gripe is the location of the tripod socket on the front half. This makes positioning/aiming the camera a stab in the dark when I use the socket, which I prefer.

I have a love/hate relationship with this camera. At first I hated it; I had it up for months and it only took a handful of pictures. For my previous cams I mounted them at eye level (5.5 ft) with a slight tilt down and they took lots of pictures. This one has a very narrow trigger zone top to bottom and a very wide trigger zone left to right (wider than the camera frame). As a result of the narrow up/down trigger and being mounted at an angle, very few animals passed through that small zone. I moved the camera closer to the ground (3 ft) with no angle, facing straight out. Now it takes tons of pictures of deer (see attached). However it doesn’t capture any other animals. I think I might need to move it closer to the ground for hogs and coyotes. Daytime images are great. Nighttime images are overexposed with too much flash but still viewable. I guess I don’t love it, but like others have said, it’s ok for the price.

I love this camera. I got it to take pictures of the animals that wander across my property. It will take pictures and video, each with many options for resolutions. I particularly like night pics. It uses a motion sensor to snap photos, and the quality is outstanding. You can choose specific times of the day to monitor, so I was able to select night time, but I can also choose 24x7 if I want. There are many other features of the camera, too, that I have not used yet.

The camera is camo and brown, so it blends in. It comes with rechargeable batteries, usb-c charging cable, 64gb SD card, and very long strap to attach to wide trees.

The camera will also put the time, date and temperature on the picture. The night time pics are in black and white, but the camera takes stunning color pics, too (during the day).

I highly recommend this camera.
