It's easy to assemble and comfortable to use for extended periods of time. It comes with a carry bag, headphones and a foldable shovel. It requires 2 9v batteries, which are not included. So far I've tested it in our yard by hiding coins and letting the kids find them. It takes a little getting used to the controls, but once you get it dialed in, it works well. Can't wait to take it to the beach.

I'm a beginner to metal detection, and finally chose this model; it was within the price range I was looking for. The "kit" is perfectly equipped for family fun at the beach, we didn't find any treasures worth sharing, but exciting to get a hit on people's lost quarters and dimes. Very durable plastic, not flimsy, and lightweight is important.

I tried it with coins and jewelry, it warns when the object is not as expensive as nails and also when it is a gold or silver jewel, it is not highly accurate but it does help.

This item is a gem! My wife has been excited to find some adventure and this will allow us to go out and explore together while we walk.
Additionally, she has weakness in her wrists and the combined efforts of the wrist strap and low weight make it very usable and keep down the fatigue.
Works well on the beach as you can go into shallow water or hit the sand.

I have wanted a metal detector for awhile. I am retired and look for things to fill my days & time.. I am very please with the quality of the product. It was easy to assemble and instructions were easy to understand. The carry bag is nice too. The thing I like most, to my surprise, was I used it while I was with my granddaughter and grandson at an outdoor family function and it became of moment of family bonding. It kept them entertained and off the cell phones for a moment. If they still show interest next spring/summer I may buy them each their own. i enjoyed looking for hidden treasures as well

I ordered this metal detector because I've always wanted to get one and it was a reasonable price with some solid reviews. Honestly, all the good reviews are well deserved. The detector is good quality plastics and aluminum piping, well manufactured, and comes with a decent set of headphones and a pretty well made little folding shovel.
The settings are simple to understand and set up and I've found that it's sensors are quite accurate. This is definitely a nice set for someone who is new to the hobby and just wants to get into it and have fun finding stuff.

Great detector for the beginner. I would give a thumbs up for accuracy. I bought it to find lost ring and it did the job.

I purchased this detector for my 10 year old Granddaughter. I couldn't follow the directional guide very well. I will seek help from a friend that uses one regularly to better understand how to use it properly. I know it is too complicated for the child to use. She is pretty good with technology but these directions are hard to follow. With proper understanding I hope it works out ok!

My original review on this metal detector was a bad review it turns out that it was definitely defective I was contacted by customer service and they are replacing it.
I'm hoping to come back and give a full review on how the new one works I've done metal detecting all over florida and found many treasures and lots of fun doing it
