Not found any treasure yet, but my 79 yr old father assembled it himself on Xmas Day and has been digging up the garden to find bits and bobs. All I would say is - when the dial says it’s found gold! it ends up being a screw or something….

Lost my wedding ring in the garden. Was a little anxious whether this was good enough or just a toy. Need not have worried. Once I followed the instructions carefully, this detector worked just as explained. Although it has a display for finds, you go on tones and move in small and slow movements. I used the earbuds I use for my laptop as it doesnt come with headphones, but the speaker is quite good. Came with a small folding shovel/pick in a wee bag and also came with a large holdall which takes the detector. You must read the manual first before setting up, then refer to it implicitly whilst testing. The DISC mode works fairly well, but dont narrow field too much. All in all, I'm chuffed.
