I occasionally carried a few individual filters with me. But it was often too expensive for me to fiddle around with it in nature. Screwing the filters together to get further addition levels is also fiddly. There are enough individual ND filters, but every time you had to change the filter again...

With this filter here you basically trick the entire handling process. I hadn't even found out such a thing existed. So I included a little video so you can see the function. Even if there is "only" ND2-32 here, you can still see what these products can do.
Especially for experimentation, a matter of seconds, sometimes with a different filter setting. With low filter strengths, the camera automatic is sufficient and you can see the current shutter speed when setting the filter. Soft water structures with relatively bright light or soft clouds in the sky etc. pp. I didn't really notice scattered lights or reflections, but I edit something like that on the PC anyway.

The price of this product is high, but considering that it covers multiple filters at once, it's not too bad. However, the general question is what kind of filters do you really need. I previously had an ND8 and an ND1000. Sometimes an ND 4000 would have been required (to safely create "abandoned" objects/rooms).

However, I find the concept here really innovative and practical.

It has a powder-coated brass frame and a high-quality, crystal-clear look. A filter that I don't find bad when I put it in front of my best glass. The threads are precisely worked and can be screwed in and out very easily. The CP rotation feels incredible, buttery smooth. Like its hydraulics, but it's not that, it's just ridiculously smooth action. Like a high quality potentiometer. The knurling feels very good, and overall the whole thing feels really great in the hand. As for the polarization effect, it works as it should and as expected and with crystal clear optics. The included filter pouch is made of suede and heavyweight denim and features a drawstring to pull out the filter without having to put your fingers in the pouch. The whole thing is pretty lux. The packaging itself is a very classy, ​​thick black box with gold accents. The box also turns into a picture frame. The package also includes a microfiber cloth. Overall, this is a very luxurious filter. It's a bit pricey, but the quality definitely matches the price. You sometimes get what you pay for and this is one of those times. You don't want to buy high quality lenses that cost thousands of dollars and put a cheap filter on them. This is the kind of filter that you can feel comfortable with on your best lenses.

Anyone who enjoys photography knows what to use an ND filter for. Since my focus is on landscape photography, I can't avoid working with such filters. I ordered this from K&F for my full frame camera.

I just got tired of stuffing my backpack with ND filters of different strengths. That's where the Nano-X Pro came in. In order to use it on several lenses I ordered it in the size 77 mm. I then work with step rings to be able to use it on smaller lenses.

To say it straight away: the optical quality and the quality of the pictures flashed me! The processing is excellent and very successful. The lens thread is cut very cleanly.
The filter can be adjusted from ND 2 to ND 32. The larger levels (apertures) are marked on the ring and are easy to read. It can also only be rotated in this range from 1-5. It doesn't go below or above. So you always know what you have set at the stop.

The 77mm. Ring brings 93 gr. on my kitchen scale. Everything is solid and feels very good. The adjustment goes well with slight resistance. It should be so.

The optical quality is absolutely flawless and the filter delivers top quality even in difficult lighting conditions. I could not determine any chromatic aberrations or color gradients into green, magenta or anywhere else during pixel peeping. The quality of the filter is unsurpassed, even with backlit foliage or fir trees and reflections from dew. Finally an ND filter that does justice to my limited lenses and full frame sensor. The frame thickness with thread is only 9 mm. Without thread 0.63 mm. So you can also use the filter on wide-angle lenses without edge shadowing.

Thanks to the two screwed brass handles and the ribbing of the ring, the filter can be adjusted very sensitively.

Conclusion:
K&F Concept has delivered a top filter here. What's the point if you put thousands in lenses and then bad filters make the job difficult or give lousy results? Clear 5 stars+ from me. After testing this, I saw absolutely no optical distortion. It's a beautiful polarizing filter that's as precision engineered as you can get. The threads screw into the lens very easily and the ring turns buttery smooth. This way you can get any kind of grady action you want in terms of polarization. This mechanism, the simple one, is incredibly precise.

The glass is absolutely perfectly flat as far as I can measure. And even with the laser test I could not detect any distortion.

This is said to have a kind of nano-coating that makes it scratch-resistant and also makes water roll off much more easily. I really hope not to test this.

Every filter from this company has been consistently top notch. Absolutely professional quality is no different with this one. I have a German made polarizer for $300 and I don't think you can tell the difference. I also have some other expensive ones that aren't nearly as good as this one.

The Germans look and feel identical. And that for half the price. This company makes top notch stuff. I will have no qualms about ever buying a K&F filter.

Gray filters are indispensable in photography. They are used all the time, especially in landscape photography. You know these great pictures with the flowing water that looks so "fluffy" soft - for something like that you need a gray filter. A gray filter, or "ND filter" (neutral density filter) swallows the light so that you can expose longer can. This long exposure and the movement of the water makes it look so great. By shooting with a ND filter, the light that hits it will be darkened and you can shoot better in very bright surroundings shoot with a wider aperture or longer exposure times. By shooting with a longer exposure time you can achieve beautiful effects. Normally, pictures are overexposed if you choose a particularly long exposure time. Reason for purchase:
I ordered this filter for 2 reasons. The first reason is that if I just want to travel light, I don't want to take my complete cartridge filter system with me. Secondly, I can use it well in videography, where I usually film according to the 180 degree rule. This means that in order to get a cinematic video image with a certain degree of motion blur in the individual image, you film e.g. B. with a shutter speed of 1/fps x 2, I'm filming at 50fps, so I need a shutter speed of 1/100s, which is not possible without an ND filter, especially at wide angle in sunshine.

First impression:
The packaging looks very classy, ​​but in view of the asking price for the filter, you are welcome to do so. The filter is in an equally pretty and high-quality filter bag, which I have never seen in this form with round filters. The tab on the side allows you to lift the filter to avoid accidental contact with the glass when removing it. The closure of the bag is magnetic. A nice gimmick is that the cardboard packaging of the filter can be transformed into a small picture frame.

Product test:
The filter feels like a dream, heavy (91g) and easy to grip, I also really like the colour-contrasting adjustment aids. These can also be removed if you wish to continue using a lens hood. For this you need a small Microtorx, eg from a precision mechanical kit. When the filter is set, it runs buttery smooth across all stages.

The filter showed no weaknesses in the test. As a result, I could not detect any color cast and there was also no X-Cross effect. The promised effect of up to 5 f-stops is retained. Technically perfect and that is the most important aspect of an ND filter.

Suggestions for improvement:
1. The sustainability aspect, as taken up when using cardboard as a picture frame, could also be reflected in the filter bag by not using animal products (leather).
2. An 82mm variant would be desirable and recommendable, then the filter could also be used on (m) a 24-70mm/2.8, for example.

Tips:
It is always advisable to buy such a filter with the largest possible diameter so that you can adapt it to as many lenses as possible in your own fleet using step-down rings. Of course, this also eliminates the possibility of continuing to use a sun visor.

Conclusion:

The price for the 77 mm variant is in a demanding range at €180; the expectations are corresponding. I compare the filter side by side with my Käsemann B+W KSM HTC-POL MRC nano XS-PRO DIGITAL, which is about 25% cheaper depending on the source.

The K&F circular polarizing filter comes in a high-quality cardboard slipcase packaging. The actual case is just as high quality. The question is whether such a chic case is also ideal for transport - or whether the classic plastic filter box does not offer better protection against mechanical damage or moisture. I mean yes.

Visually, I think the K&F filter is excellent, and that's the main thing. I can't tell the result from my Käsemann B+W filter. Both filters swallow a little more than 1 f-stop of light. The effect is indistinguishable. I don't notice any optical impairments or color shifts. See photos. In my example photos, I worked with a constant white balance.

The filter can be easily screwed in. It is approx. 5 mm thick without the filter thread, my Käsemann B+W filter is only approx. 4 mm.

Now my point of criticism, which leads to the deduction of a star. The filter is relatively stiff when new, in contrast to my Käsemann B+W filter. By turning it back and forth several times I got it smoother. But the circulation isn't quite even, there are places that run better and places that offer a little more resistance. No problem at all, the filter can be used without any problems, but as I said, we are talking about a high-priced product and I have the direct comparison.

Although I have a filter of the same brand that does its job properly, it doesn't allow you to change the light and contrast. This filter allows, albeit in a subtle way, it allows you to gently rotate the lens once it is attached, modifying the light, the contrast and the color of the perception of the image It is not a modification with many variations, but it allows, easily retouch the intensity with which an image is captured.
One could give a minus point for the price, but in my opinion it is a personal and relative assessment.
