I needed an ultra-thin UV filter for my wide angle lens and this filter works great! I was still able to screw in the lens hood and not get any vignette in the corners. This filter also seems to alleviate some of the glare I experienced. The surface of the filter is super clear and doesn't interfere with my camera's autofocus. We recommend.

This filter fits my Sony lens perfectly. If you don't have a UV filter, this is just the thing and not only filters out UV rays but also protects your lens.

good quality filter, appears to be well made with notches on the outside of the metal casing which should provide some grip if you want to remove it.
