Excellent front protection filter for lenses. Accurate and timely delivery from Amazon: ordered on Sunday evening, the next morning at 10am I was already able to mount it on my new lens (Fuji XF 56 1.2) - I haven't tested it live at a wedding yet, but the filter seems to close perfectly be, very thin - the knurled edge allows for quick and precise disassembly and assembly - there doesn't seem to be any significant color deviation on the test photos - I bought the 62mm version. I will keep this filter practically mounted on the lens for life to protect it from bumps and head-on hits

Personally, I don't like using UV protection as it can distort/defocus image quality. I invested a lot in my lens and went for more expensive ones like this one. I don't see any reduced image quality or focus speed degradation. Good protection / fit. Highly recommended

I'm old school: I always put a UV filter on my lenses to protect the front element. If you want to know how valuable that is, just look at how far fewer lenses that have "just a little scratch" on the glass are being sold on FB Marketplace or eBay - in fact most people just would don't buy anything. All in all, it's a no brainer for the price. Being primarily a wildlife photographer, dust is more of an issue; I'd much rather dust off a cheap (similar) UV filter than possibly scratch the coatings on my expensive lens. I didn't notice it with this lens, but most UV lenses tend to add the slightest, almost insignificant, blue cast to any image. Since I would process each shot I consider them decent and "worth it" in Lightroom anyway, it's worth it.

Just received today. It feels light, even a bit flimsy when I hold it in my hand. Nevertheless, it feels quite high quality. It seems to have a thinner glass substrate compared to the B+W filters I have. Given the 95mm size, I even have a feeling that the glass might warp under stress, although I know that's unlikely. I'm curious about the optical performance. In terms of price, this is unbeatable, what all other UV filters should cost. There's just no justification for seeing a UV at $200 or even $300. Selling a UV for $200-300 sounds to me like people want the money but don't want to work reasonably hard.

Got some new RF lenses, needed the 43mil and here we go. Great fit, doesn't interfere with retracting the R's Ben when shutting down, nice protection at a good price.

Use it as a protective filter, no noticeable degradation on the Sigma 150-600 FE.

I mainly use it to protect my lens from scratches and dirt. It reduces the amount of ultraviolet light entering a camera. Without this filter you will notice discolouration. It effectively removes the appearance of blue tones bleeding in your photos.
