The tripod is sturdy and high enough for any scene. I've been looking for a portable tripod that's taller than 1.7m without being very heavy and bulky. The head is not bad at all, especially if you are a professional photographer you can upgrade to a more expensive head.

I was a bit dubious but I have to say I found it very sturdy and stable. The weight might be a bit high but I've found much better known brand stands for sale that weigh a kilogram more so I'd say it may be there. If you want, just change your head to drop the weight by a few ounces.
