The endoscope camera with Lightning connector can actually be used a few moments after you plug it into your iPhone, but you still have to download an app. Then it's quite simple and you can search in the furthest corners. The brightness of the light directly on the camera can be controlled using a dial on the cable; even in darker corners it is bright enough to be able to see closer things clearly. With the accessories you can also try to pick up things, or use the small mirror to get a different perspective. If you want to quickly check or search for something, this is a simple and working solution.

The camera makes a good impression. The processing quality is very good. The cable is made of relatively stiff material, but can still be moved so that the camera can also be pushed through thin cross sections. Small LEDs are placed around the camera lens, which illuminate the captured image. These LEDs lead to noticeable heat development on the camera after a few minutes of operation. The camera is very easy to put into operation with the corresponding app and works perfectly straight away. In our opinion, the image quality is absolutely fine. The image is only very blurry in the close range of a few cm. We assume that unfortunately it is not possible to take photos of closer objects here. At least we didn't find any adjustment options or resharpening options. All in all, a useful inspection camera, not cheap for a price of 20 EUR, but reasonable.

The workmanship is quite good, but all the gimmicks like mirrors or magnets are very cheap or useless for me. When the mirror is clipped on and the light is active at the same time, you can only see a little or nothing at all. If the light is off, the mirror is still somewhat usable, although such a camera is usually used in corners where there is little to no light. Basically, the endoscope camera is very easy to use. The required app is also installed very quickly and is very easy to use, but it is also not a high-profile app. The resolution of the camera is sufficient and the photographed/filmed objects are clearly visible. It's a little pixelated, but quite sufficient for searching in the engine compartment or in the drain pipe!

Review of the K&F Concept snake camera for endoscope/borescope inspection. I already have a device with a separate display and an endoscope inspection camera. It's bulky, requires charging before use, and requires an SD memory card to function. The image quality left a lot to be desired. This device is very portable and only requires an iPhone's Lightning port and an app. I tested this with an iPhone 7 Plus and the endoscope worked perfectly. Setup took about two minutes. Finding the correct orientation on one of these endoscopes takes practice. Once I found the position where everything looked natural and wasn't positioned a few degrees to the left, right, or upside down, I used a paint marker to mark the top of the camera body with a yellow dot just below the grooved area. This way I know which direction the endoscope is facing. The image quality is much better with this endoscope than with the other device because I view objects on a larger display. The images are a bit grainy, although I was still able to easily identify objects. I had to dim the LED brightness to see certain things. The snake section is semi-rigid and fits easily around pipes and tubes. Perfect for use around the home, at sea or in the car. The small included brackets attach to the grooved area of the camera body and cannot be easily removed. The mirror attachment hardly serves any purpose. The magnet attachment should be able to hold small metal objects. The hook attachment has enough material to adapt to a different design. The camera body becomes warm when the LEDs are set to full brightness and used for a short period of time. Keep an eye on your iPhone's battery. If the camera LEDs are set to their brightest setting, the iPhone's battery will drain over time. The app is easy to use and allows you to take/save photos or videos of what you are looking at. The app offers two additional zoom levels. The option to change the view to a 90 degree angle view can be helpful in some situations. There is also the option to view images in color or black and white. For portability and versatility, this tool has many uses — at home or in the workshop.
