The light should have been remote controlled, then everything would have been perfect. But otherwise all good.

My test of the StartRC landing gear with LED lighting. I added this as I fly a lot of the time during sunset to take photos. Because this drone is so small, it is sometimes difficult to see it from a distance. The landing gear fits snugly and snugly to the UAV and hardly weighs anything. It helps keep your drone higher off the ground and protects the camera gimbal. I noticed no difference in the handling of the aircraft during flight and minimal differences in battery life. My only recommendation for improving this is that the LED lights all face down. It would be nice if there were a couple of side and rear facing LEDs to make it easier to see from a distance. The LED lights are much brighter than those on the drone, so even if they are now, they greatly improve visibility. As seen, the landing gear fits in my StartRC hard case. The instructions are well written, but I really didn't need them. It comes with a small USB-C charging cable and charges quickly. I highly recommend this product if you want extra lighting and feel the landing gear will help keep your camera further off the ground upon landing.

This is a great addition to your DJI mini 3 pro. Excellent landing gear and led light shines the sky. Absolute must have for any mini 3 pro drone owner. Very lightweight and easy to install. Highly recommended.

Great Drone. It is super robust and can even withstand a fall from a great height. The operation for children very easy because the drone is not very fast. We can definitely recommend the drone.

DJI's Mini 3 Pro has more functions than its predecessor, the Mini 2. Since these cause more weight, the manufacturer has shortened the feet to save weight. Depending on the surface, e.g. on a longer lawn, this is of course not an advantage. With STARTRC's clickable undercarriage, this can be compensated for quickly and easily. For assembly, only the plastic protection, which is located above the camera including the gimbal, has to be removed. The arms with the rotors can still be folded out and in, albeit very tightly, after the landing gear has already been mounted. The foldable landing gear skids lock into place both when folded and unfolded, so nothing flaps or wobbles. Basically you can of course use the chassis passively, but the LED lighting makes a lot, especially when it gets dark. Charging the internally installed Li-ion battery with a capacity of 60 mAh takes about 40 minutes. The mileage of the LEDs depends on the mode used and can be up to approx. 50 minutes. The different modes are long and short flashing of the LEDs, as well as continuous lighting. A USB-A / USB-C charging cable was included by the manufacturer, but no power supply. Unfortunately, there is no indicator light that signals the charging process with a red light and the full battery with a green LED. I find the luminosity of the LEDs to be very bright, especially when the ambient light is low. I would wish for a setting option for different brightness levels. Conclusion: stable and practical chassis with lighting. I would like to see a few tweaks here and there. I hope this review is useful

In order to see this little Mini 3 better in the sky and possibly for night flight, I looked for a suitable LED solution and decided on this product. However, there are 2 points to consider when using this lighting: 1. The land position weighs 20.47g, the Mini 3 Pro weighs 249g and that takes me over the 250g limit. This means the pilot has to register with the LBA free of charge and stick his registration number on the drone. In addition, the small EU drone driver's license A1/A3 over 250g is mandatory. 2. In contrast to previous German law, UAS flights at night are not excluded and therefore do not require any special approval. The UAS must be equipped with a "green" flashing light during night-time operation. Unfortunately, these are colorful here. As during the day, the flight is to be carried out in direct visual contact between the long-distance pilot and the drone. Additional position lights, which make it easier to assess the position of the UAS in space, are recommended. Otherwise, always adhere to the drone ordinance! So now finally to the product: The increase is definitely helpful, so that the drone gets a little higher. Because when you turn it on, the gimbal moves with the camera in all directions and could quickly come into contact with bumps outdoors. The attachment is great, simply hook it in at the front where the gimbal transport protection was and then press down slightly at the back and push the foot apart and up until it also snaps into the Mini. This works perfectly and then sits tight. The LED lighting is charged with the included USB-C cable. Don't use a 30W charger here, that didn't work for me. Just a normal one and then the battery can be charged. When the LED goes out, it is full. There is a small black button in the direction of flight, with which the lighting modes can be switched. I find the visual light best when the drone is hovering in the sky, also during the day a useful help for orientation, where the drone is ;-) The battery lasts about 2 flights of 25 minutes each, then simply charge it, which I already do had done with my power bank. The quality and workmanship of the illuminated landing stage is good and I am satisfied with it. Although I mostly take off and land by hand, the LEDs have become the most important for me. Please be careful with hand launches, because the small props can cause serious injuries. Happened to me with the little DJI Spark 5 years ago, fingernail was through and it was bleeding profusely. I've been flying for over 7 years and with the then smallest drone of all things, I had such a mishap during a DEMO demonstration in a flight cage ;-( Thank you for taking the time to read my review. The small landing part for my DJI Mini 3 Pro drone fits the drone perfectly. It is very easy to attach and remove in seconds. I really like the fastening system, by folding out the feet, the frame snaps into place on the edges of the drone, great idea, super precise. Since the landing gear is located towards the rear, the drone has a slight tendency to tip forward, I do not recommend landing on uneven surfaces, including grass, as shown here. I always land it on my drone case and it works great. The LED lighting is also super bright, it is switched on via a small button on the underside of the frame. There are two flashing modes and one steady light mode. The specified 50 min. Light time is at least sufficient in flashing mode. Charging takes about 30-45 minutes. A USB charging cable is included in the scope of delivery, the lighting can also be charged with a power bank while on the go. With the landing gear, however, the drone weighs 269 g, since the landing gear weighs 20 g, so with the landing gear attached we are no longer in the drone class below 250 g. This should definitely be considered before taking off with the landing gear. I am super satisfied with the landing gear and give it a full 5 stars.

 I don't fly often at night, but this thing REALLY lights up! You'll have neighbors reporting UFO's in no time! Not quite sure about the battery life yet, but this makes a great addition to night flight. I don't recommend it for day flights, as it weighs 20 g, which is significant on a drone the size of the Mini 3 Pro. The video was taken with a Galaxy S21 Ultra, but the quality is still poor due to the excessive light this thing gives off. If you want a light for your drone to see it in the night sky, look no further.

It does help keep your drone higher off the ground adding protection to the camera gimbal. I didn’t notice any difference in the aircraft handling during flight and minimal if any differences in battery life. My only recommendation to improve this is the LED lights are all facing down. It would be nice if there were a few side facing and rear facing LEDS to help see it more at a distance. The LED lights are way brighter than those on the drone already so even as they are now they greatly help visibility. As seen the landing gear fits in my StartRC hard case. The instructions are well written but I really didn’t need them. It comes with a small USB C charging cable and charges fast. I highly recommend this product if you want additional lighting and feel like the landing gear helps keep your camera farther off the ground when landing.
