49mm Variable ND Filter True Color ND2-ND32 with 28 Layers of Anti-reflection Green Film Waterproof, Anti-scratch Nano-Xcel Series
SKU: KF01.2153
The K&F Concept Nano-X True Color Variable ND Filter arrived quickly.
It is neatly packed in a chic pencil case that protects the filter well.
I would still like to see the filter designation on the pencil case so that I can find the one I'm looking for more quickly.
The filter itself works well.
It fits perfectly on my wide angle lens. With the right adapter rings, even on smaller lenses.
The settings can be continuously adjusted using the small red handle on the edge.
Unfortunately, the weather is rather dark and gray at the moment and the filter outside hasn't really been used yet.
Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the filter and am looking forward to the next sunny day.

Variable ND filters are primarily used for filming, since long exposure times have to be used there. In order to have the right exposure at all times, it is important to be able to adjust the ND filter. Inexpensive variable ND filters usually have a yellow cast. Of course, this falsifies the white balance and the image effect. Unless you want it that way. I still like to use the variable filters. Especially with long exposures on the water. But I've often been annoyed by the distorted color effect. The ND filter reviewed here is clearly not one of the cheap filters. It also comes in a very nice case when it arrives and it even has a handle that you can use to adjust it very comfortably on the camera. As you can see from the pictures, the color effect does not change. Aperture and exposure time as well as ISO were all the same. Only the filter was adjusted. I think you can see the quality of the filter well.
In general, I would like to warn against turning the filter on too tightly or slightly crookedly, or using it at strongly changing temperatures. Then it happened to me more often that I couldn't get the filter off anymore. That was only possible with the right filter clamp.
I haven't had any problems with this one though.
I like him very much. But that should also be the case, it also costs significantly more than the inexpensive league.
5 Stars.

The filter can be selected directly for a lens or used with adapter rings. I opted for the former because I don't find the constant changing ideal and only need the filter in this way for one lens. This variable filter covers several f-stops. I am happy with the quality. The material looks high-quality, the thread is precise and I also think the glass is excellent.
The product corresponds to the description, I am satisfied with the quality and I recommend this variable ND filter.

This screw-on filter ensures that you can reduce the light for the photo shoot. This allows you to achieve a longer exposure time, which can be used well for certain situations.
We have now tested this filter a number of times and so far we are quite happy with the results achieved.
What the filter does or is supposed to achieve, it implements well. In this way, waterfalls, streams or moving clouds can be softened or faded easily. Or you can also use such a filter quite well in areas that are very busy with people. With a long exposure, you can easily make moving people disappear from the photos.
But you can certainly recommend him. Beautiful effects, no visible color changes (blue cast, purple cast, etc.).
The K&F Concept coating technology gives the filter a very low reflectivity, which ensures good light transmission, thereby reducing flare and ghosting, preventing glare and not affecting the original performance of the lens.
A really great filter.
The nano-coating is waterproof, dirt-resistant and scratch-resistant and therefore ensures the filter has excellent durability.
The processing, design and quality looks very high quality and very well made, the filter glass texture also makes an extremely positive, scratch-free impression.
The variable ND filter reduces the light by up to f-stops, that means ND2-32 (1-5 stop), which causes no color cast and no loss of image quality.
On the subject of autofocus and filters:
The autofocus still works well with the Sony A7 Mark 2 or the Sony 6500 combined with various lenses, although it is a bit weaker. Here you just have to switch to manual focus.
All in all, a really well-made filter, with the advantage that it is easy to attach compared to square-wave filters, which require a square-wave filter attachment.
This filter arrives in a neatly made box in which to keep it safe and well.
So far, this filter has convinced us without any objections, so a clear recommendation.

Nothing bad to say, magnetic filters are always easier, but this particular ND gets the job done in all other aspects. These ND filters are truly colourfast, you won't be disappointed.

No X-pattern, virtually no color cast, and a 1-5 stop range (vs. the more common 2-5) make the Kentfaith True Color ND Vario the best variable ND on the market for most situations. Technically, a little extra warmth can be noticed in head-to-head comparisons, but it's almost impossible to tell otherwise and close enough to be matched in post with no ill effects on compressed photos or video.
I wish the IR filtering was implemented in True Color, but perhaps the technology used here doesn't allow for that. Because IR is not filtered, certain lighting conditions can be undesirable or even unusable, especially when more visible light is cut off. Assuming (possibly erroneously) that one flaw is a necessary compromise for the True Color's unmatched color accuracy, I feel the True Color ND-Vario is as perfect as a VND can get, and first VND that doesn't feel like a compromise between accuracy and practicality.
Here's hoping for a true color version of their 5-9 stop next!

In contrast to classic ND filters, the intensity of this filter can be adjusted in a range of 2-32. This is done by turning the filter; for this purpose there is a small Nupsi on the filter, which can be used as a 'handle'. Smart.
Supplied with a high-quality case.
The filter doesn't exactly move smoothly. If it were, it would be difficult to set and ideally maintain the desired filter effect. So: there is always something.
The filter is quite bulky overall due to the bonus function. Personally, I wouldn't put on a filter for a single f-stop, it's actually not worth it.
However, I think it's good to remain flexible when setting the effect.
Processing top, color distortion 0. All good.

I received the K&F Concept Nano-X True Color - variable ND filter in the size 72mm free of charge as part of the Amazon Vine program.
The K&F Concept Nano-X True Color - variable ND filter comes in a noble and robust packaging. This contains some details about the product as well as some general notes and information about it. Inside there is the variable ND filter itself as well as a storage bag and some information material.
The quality of the K&F Concept Nano-X True Color - Variable ND filter is very high and generally very well made. The thread, which is for 72mm lenses on my example, fits very precisely and can be screwed onto my lens very easily. The gray filter can be continuously adjusted from ND2 to ND32. This is very practical and space-saving because you can only have one filter with you and still cover a wide spectrum with it. The material from which the frame and the glass are made is very valuable and this is reflected later in the image quality. The adjustment works without any problems and in general there is nothing wrong with the product. This variable ND filter from K&F Concept is perfect for my needs. The product does a solid job and the image quality is very good. My expectations were exceeded and I am more than satisfied. Therefore, this product is also very suitable as a gift. This product is very suitable for hobby photographers as well as professionals. So 5 stars from me for that. TOP!!!!

The "K&F Nano-X True Color Variable ND Filter 82mm gray filter ND2-32" comes in a classy packaging that is easy to open and you can carefully remove the filter. The bag that goes with it is well made, everything looks very classy and you can expect that for the price. The filter itself is of very high quality and you can see all the key figures directly. Beautiful pictures are also created during use, which do not have to be edited afterwards. The small bag protects the lens from scratches or other things. The image that can be conjured up from the filter is simply overwhelming and is worth its price. Here it makes no difference whether you have sun in the picture or are completely blinded, the filter delivers its performance. I have already experienced this with the other filter from K&F, which did not disappoint me here either. If you want to create photos for your hobby, you should also rely on good quality and K&F is currently simply convincing.

Use the 72mm version on a Sigma SD 14, fits perfectly and saves me many, many different darkening filters. A really great thing, didn't even know that such a thing existed. Previously had 4 pieces of different gray filters, which I could now do all out of the bag. Sounds like a lot of money at first, but I only calculate the expenses from my 4 filters...oh oh I would have gotten off much better here. Now I can !infinitely! adapt to all lighting conditions, a dream.
