43mm Variable ND3-ND1000 Filters Adjustable ND Neutral Density Filters, with 24 Multi-Layer Coatings for DSLR Camera Lens Nano-Dazzle Series
SKU: KF01.2056
This is my first variable ND filter. I have to use it for my video needs. It is a solidly built filter with reusable packaging for storage. For the price, I love it for shooting videos. Especially on bright days when I'm in focus, this helps give my videos a bit of atmosphere and focus on the subject. Can't speak to photos as I haven't had the opportunity to take this out for landscape shots. If I do, I'll definitely update. For the price, I find the 10 Stops to be a great addition to my on-the-go gear for video needs.
I hope this review or even just the pictures were helpful in your purchase decision or not.
The helpful feedback will be greatly appreciated. Cheers buddy!

The first thing I noticed about the K&F concept 82 millimeter variable ND filter, is that it was packaged super nice, and when I picked it up out of the box it felt like a quality product. It had a super nice metal finish and the two pieces glided across each other very smoothly. This was my first time using an adjustable ND filter on my camera, but I was always looking for the extra versatility and adjustable ND filter could offer versus a fixed ND filter stuck at one particular stop.
This variable ND filter definitely did not disappoint, I love how easy it is to slap onto my lens and it's so great being able to switch and adjust the power of the ND filter with a simple twist of the lenscap. In addition to its obvious uses an ND filter, I love the fact that I feel like my lenses are more protected when this is on them as well because the glass is not exposed to the elements. Overall, I am definitely convinced about using ND filters and adjustable ones more specifically, so I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's on the fence about getting an adjustable one. This one definitely does the job.

I am fully satisfied with the quality of the filters, the carrying case is comfortable and the quality of the lenses is excellent. As a novice photographer I was happy with the three types of filters, I mostly use the one with the gradient.
It's also great that they can be stacked on top of each other.

For this price I find the quality more than very good. The small bag is super practical, imaging performance is more than ok and the threads are also great. Clear purchase recommendation!

The build quality and clarity on this filter is excellent. The adjustment ring is a little snug, but I expect that to loosen with time. I can't tell a difference between this filter and my higher-end ones.

Well processed fits perfectly on the lens. The scale for adjusting is also good and helpful. For the holidays it is completely sufficient due to the scale I used it together with a C polarizing filter. But not a 100% ND filter. Still, all in all, a great product.

This filter guarantees 9 stops less, which on the one hand is 5 usable (from degrees 3 to 8) because it is clear, on the other hand avoiding unpleasant light/dark areas typical of these cheap filters. I'm using it in b/w so I can't comment on the color rendering. Good!

This one helps to keep colors true. Have you ever tried to photograph purple sport's uniforms? Without this filter, they often come of digitally as navy-blue uniforms. This filter is a problem solver. Ever photograph polar bears in the snow? This filter helps keep all the shades of white clear and precise. I label each box with what to expect from the filter. It makes it easy to grab and go with the correct filter. However, when I have time, I enjoy changing out the filters and shooting the same scenes with different filters. It often yields unexpected and lovely results. Essential filters. Well worth the time and expense.

It is important to choose the right exposure to act on the modularity of this filter. The final yield is good, I have not yet found any chromatic halos in the final image and I report excellent price quality.

Spoiler Alert: My ratings mean nothing. I haven't bought this filter yet. However, I see the question in my headline both in the Questions about the product and in several users below who ding the product because it uses two polarizers or the filter doesn't work with a CPL. The answer to the question above is misleading and those reviews below aren't fair. Above, the seller says you could add a CPL filter to this VND filter, (true) but, based on what I've read, the results of doing will be very unreliable. Here's why: all VND filters work using two polarizing elements. (Don't complain when your VND has two elements.) One element is a linear polarizer and one is circular. As you turn one, the filter darkens or lightens. Now imagine stacking a CPL filter on top of a VND filter. This really creates three polarizing filters - a linear polarizer, a circular polarizer, and another circular polarizer. That's a lot of polarization for a photographer to keep track of, especially if your VND filter is dialed down so you can't clearly see the shot, which happens with ND filters. Let's pretend you wanted to shoot waterfalls with a VND filter and a CPL filter stacked on top of it. Imagine creating this shot given what I've told you. I couldn't do it reliably. (I might get lucky.) So, if I wanted to shot an image that required both a ND filter and a CPL filter, I'd probably get much better results with both a standard ND filter, which removes the polarization, and a CPL. I hope this helps potential buyers of this item. I'm asking for this filter as a birthday gift. So I'm not a buyer yet, but I hope my wife will be.
