Great filter, I couldn't notice the infamous blackouts in the corners even at maximum blackout. However, ND32 is simply not enough, which is why I resorted to the cheaper, less good variable ND filter from K&F. With this one, the maximum darkening is not usable, but if you turn it back a little, it is still much darker than this one and also usable.
I couldn't find any color distortion here, but I didn't check it separately either because I sent it back quickly because it was darkened too little.

I'm quite impressed with this ND filter, I didn't really expect it to be that good for video production. Although it stops 5 stops of light, I think it's enough for me to shoot videos on any sunny day. no x-pattern either, i didn't see any loss of image quality when making video either.
I'll probably make a review video for this product and add this Kentfaith link so others can buy it too.

I bought the K&F ND2-ND32 for a small film project.
The filter comes in a practical box that protects it during transport.
The strength can easily be adjusted steplessly. Unfortunately I don't have the reference to other variable ND filters here.
As advertised in the product description, I could not see an X on any level of this filter.
I took a few photos with a variety of backgrounds and subjects before properly using the filter. My copy does not show an X even with long exposures.
After the film project is completed, the filter remains in my photo backpack.
In most cases, I prefer the variable filter to a bulky plug-in filter system.
The image quality is 5 stars because I don't notice any loss of quality even with my best lenses.
I give 5 stars for value for money because I got exactly what I expected.
I didn't rate the packaging design (I can't remember the packaging).
Nevertheless, there is a point deduction in the overall rating because there is a small imperfection on the front glass of the filter. However, I could not see this imperfection even with the aperture closed on a wide-angle lens.

A variable ND filter with the best price-performance ratio to date. Darkens a high aperture range compared to very expensive manufacturers. There is a stop at the minimum and maximum, which I find very good. The filter is adjusted with a slight resistance, which I also find advantageous, since accidental adjustment does not happen so quickly with a light touch.
So far I have not been able to detect any color distortions.

For me it was a test set, for the consideration that I might deal with it more.
These filters could be tried out, and good pictures were taken, but I have the suspicion that the sharpness is no longer as good after using the filters and cleaning them.
The next filters may be of a higher quality.

I have both a tiffen vari ND and this one. And I like this one even better! My tiff filter makes a slight bluish tint and this one, even turned too far, does not.
I also like that it has a hard stop and therefore no x patterns. Quite the opposite of meeting.
In addition, the k&f filter can filter out almost 1 1/2 stops more light than the tiffen, without a vignette.
If I hadn't already bought the Tiffen I wouldn't have it in my camera bag anymore. So he lies around and is no longer used.

This variable filter is great. There's a little more time at dawn or dusk to smooth out the motion. I didn't have any issues with vignetting or the cross effect I had with a competing brand on a wide angle lens. This could be because the filter is wider than the matching thread on the front, or could just be due to a good quality piece of glass. Either way, I'm very happy to have it in my bag. The case is sturdy but easy to open and the glass is easy to clean.

The filter is very light, which makes it perfect for taking with you, yet robust and protects the lens from oil, fingerprints and scratches.
The particularly durable aluminum frame is also very well made, which ensures durability and protection against jamming. In addition, the filter is perfect for wet conditions without affecting the overall color balance!
I have a lot of fun using it in nature, I've already taken it with me on one or the other trip and haven't been able to discover any signs of wear and tear!
