for this money you really can't ask for better, I use it to inspect and repair circuit boards, it's very easy to use and on a laptop screen it's clearly visible in close-up

This microscope will likely be sold at a loss considering other models with the same performance cost at least double the price.
Compatible with virtually all devices, it works flawlessly without the need for proprietary software, which is rare for modern hardware.

Really didn't have high expectations for the price, but...
Respect! ... with small restrictions.
I use a Windows 10 computer and the installation worked with the enclosed CD.
Restart was necessary.
When I press the photo button, my image viewer opens "Irfanview" and saves the recording.
However, the zoom button does not show any function.
By turning the dial you can change the magnification factor from 40x to 1000x,
but only either/or. Not stepless.
That still raises questions.
I mainly use photos and I think they will turn out great.
Example photos show a 1 cent coin (minimum and maximum magnification), pen tip and skin surface with hair.

Hard to beat for this price. Completely sufficient for all normal applications. I cannot confirm the poor image quality, which is often mentioned.
In the picture as an example you can see the small holes on the speaker of my laptop. The magnification is very good.
You have to practice the handling a bit, but after that it works great ;)

Nice tool for quickly viewing something large with your PC or smartphone. It is also ideal for schools because the images can be shared straight away via the projector.

The microscope camera works really well.
Only the wheel for the archipelago is a bit stiff and the included bracket is a botch, far too unstable. I use it to check print results and place the microscope directly on the printed sheet without a holder. That's how it works well.

You have to know that a low resolution of the camera does not bring miracles.
But you can see from the pictures that relatively good results are achieved in the highest resolution (def. NOT 1000x magnification).

The microphone itself is good - plug and play with the Windows camera app.
It is a bit more complicated to download and install the original software, only then will the zoom function work.
The included stand doesn't come close to fulfilling its function, I've now printed one out via Thingiverse (search term USB Microscope).

After an email to the manufacturer, a better stand was promised. The device itself is very good, although the resolution for the video at 640x480 and the photo resolution at probably well under 1 MB could be better. For the price, the quality is very good. For me the microscope is just a gimmick, I don't really need it. To take a look into another dimension, it is well suited for that. Oh yes, the supplied software works perfectly, even with my smartphone (Galaxy S20 plus) there are no problems.
