I took this VND-diffusion filter with me on a work trip to San Diego and was overall pleased with its performance. In combination with the Canon RF 24-105 F4 lens, I got consistently sharp results when shooting both photo and video. That said, this filter does not avoid the typical issues VNDs face.Sharpness:This is the best attribute of the filter. Sharpness was not perceivably affected by the filter, even with a 45 megapixel sensor.Color shift:White balance does shift radically when changing the strength of the filter. I got the best results using AWB, which instantly corrected the shifting.Cross-polarization:The weakest attribute of this filter: cross-polarization is very present at certain strengths and fields of view. Anything wider than 35mm will be particularly prone to this issue. That said, this is a fairly typical issue with VNDs, and the effect in this filter is no worse or better than Tiffen or many other manufacturer’s VNDs.Diffusion:Diffusion strength is very subjective, but I find the implementation here to be quite pleasing and suitable for most uses. It’s visible, but the strength never dominates the image.Mechanics:The ring is metal and very solidly-built. I have no concerns of parts weakening over time. There’s a good amount of stiffness to the rotation, so I am never worried about accidentally adjusting it when moving around.Overall, this is a great option for someone looking for a small VND-diffusion combo that is okay with the typical issues affecting VNDs. It does not replace my Polar Pro Basecamp filter, which has a usable range devoid of all cross-polarization and color shift issues, but I do tend to leave it on when running about or traveling. As long as you’re conscious of color shift and polarization quirks, you should be very satisfied with this filter!

This is not my first K&F filter, and will not be my last. They have produced some great filters at a much lower price than some of the better-known name brands. So what makes this filter special?1-It gives you ND filtering of 1-9 stops in a single filter2-The little orange putter makes turning the filter so much easier3-It comes with a very nice professional looking lens pouch4-You get tack sharp images with no filter pattern or artifactsIs there anything not to like about this filter? For my use, no. This filter lets me shoot at longer shutter speeds in bright light with no image degradation.'If you get the filter for your largest lens, with inexpensive step-up rings you can use this with all your other lenses, making the price even more reasonable.I am a fan of K&F filters and highly recommend this to anyone needing an ND filter.

I've had and still have many K&F products, so I'm not surprised when it's this good. It always is. The packaging. The carrying case. Both look like they hold fine jewelry. Sharp-looking, with sturdy construction, and the result is absolutely amazing. Cuts down on all the harsh glare/reflection, and smoothes everything over. And so much better, being variable, than having to try multiple filters to get the desired effect. Love just being able to adjust it to where I want it. And, it works like magic. Thank you, K&F Concept

I dont have a big need for this type of filter but I do like the results I have gotten out of it. It seems to be well made and certainly shoots like it is quality glass. I dont have any complaints with this filter at all.

I recently got the K&F Concept 67mm Black Diffusion Mist 1 4 Effect & Variable ND2-400 (1-9 Stops) ND Lens Filter and it is incredible! This filter has adjustable levels of density, allowing me to get the exact effect I'm looking for. Not only that, but it's multi-coated with 28 layers of Nano-X Series and made with high-grade materials that feel sturdy.

I can hold this easily with one hand and my camera in the other. It does have an insert where it looks like you can mount it to a tripod at the handle but none of mine fit. It’s a pretty big insert. If I can find that size that would be perfect to attach this too.

I use this on a set of Meike S35 lenses with a Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K - very pleased with the ability to change the picture results to be a little softer and dreamier - all while keeping weight down on a gimbal.

Very practical as you have multiple ND filters in one, no need to carry many to be replacing until you get the right density. No vignetting at f2.8 on my Sigma 24*70 APS-C. Camera is Sony VG-30
Easy to Use
