I use UV filters primarily to protect the front lens and occasionally consider buying new ones if they are scratched after a few years. I have some from B+W, Heliopan and some cheaper ones from Hoya, for example. I can only advise against this cheap filter. You have to accept the cheap aluminum frame for the price, ok, compared to a Hoya HMC UV filter of the same size, which also doesn't even cost 15 euros, you notice right away that the frame feels tinny and also scratchy when you screw it on. However, the stronger grooves are clever for better gripping when unscrewing, which could also work well with gloves. There are two points for that, for the rest I would have given at most one. I bought this filter to protect a lens and was hoping it wouldn't affect the image quality. However, the filter leads to excessively strong lens flares. As soon as any kind of light source is in the picture, the photo becomes useless. So the part is going back.

This order was also a tip from a pro-friend. It described to me in numerous flowery words that one should not photograph landscapes without such a filter. Heard, bought, tested..... if you take pictures at night you have unwanted glare spots due to the UV protection filter, so it depends on how you hold the camera so that it is not too strong. When photographing during the day, with direct light (sun/lamp), I personally don't find the lens flare disturbing. It makes a clean, processed impression, it protects my lens, which is my top priority, so I can recommend the UV protection filter . I find value for money very good.

The polarizing filter does what it is supposed to do. The case it comes in doesn't fit the filter exactly, so it "flies" in there a bit, but it's not that bad because it's padded. The only criticism is that the thread doesn't seem to be cut very cleanly, after the first use it was very difficult to close received, but works perfectly.

I usually only use the Hoya HMC UV filters on all my lenses. I thought I'd try something cheaper this time and got the 58mm version. There was an error. I've now bought the excellent Hoya UX as an afterthought, and this K&F filter goes straight into the trash. The problem is the cheap and poor coating, which makes a lovely circle every time the sun is anywhere in front of the camera. You don't even have to take a picture directly into the sun, even at 45 or 70 degrees to the side there are big problems, as can be seen in my photo. The thing is completely unusable.
