The adapter is kind of basic, but it's well built and does what it needs to do.

What can you say about this adapter, well, first of all, it is very well made, everything runs clean and fine. No sharp edges, clean and even gap dimensions, top workmanship all around for this price. I use it with Nikon G lenses on a Fuji X-E1 and it does very well there. Connection to camera flawless, connection of the lenses flawless, no play, no snagging that fits. What I have also tried is the connection of even older Nikon Ai-S lenses, e.g. a 135 2.8 and that also worked with this adapter without any problems. All image results, which were created in the most diverse combinations, corresponded to the usual Fuji quality and I am therefore satisfied. Shipping was quick, the item was packaged attractively and securely, so I would recommend buying it if you want to expand your system for little money or just play with the possibilities.

Well made, good quality, fits my Fuji perfectly. Be sure to choose the version with the aperture ring! There is no autofocus, as the adapter enables a purely mechanical connection, but manual focus gives the photographer completely different options as long as the images are not moving. I use it with Nikon's cheap Nifty Fifty (AF Nikkor 50mm 1:1.8 D) for still images, portraits etc. The Fuji XF 18-55 f2.8-4 RLMOIS for everything else that's more moving. A good, cheap, compact and not heavy team for excellent pictures. It is important to set "Capture without a lens" to 'On' in the menu under 'Wrench' / 'Key wheel settings'. Since the adapter is purely mechanical, the Nikon does not recognize the lens. Once set like this, both the Fuji lenses and those connected with an adapter ring will work. Top!

wasn't sure if it would work with older lenses that have an aperture ring. It does. They can be operated simultaneously with an adapter and lens rings in a mode similar to aperture priority. Pre-select the aperture you want with the lens ring, set the focus manually and then close the aperture with Or alternatively, set the minimum aperture on the lens and just use the adapter ring to open and close. I have only one problem with only one lens and that is a Samyang 8mm fisheye lens. It doesn't want to focus close with this lens. The fisheye lens seems too close to the sensor with this adapter. For this reason I am buying another adapter with a built in helicoid to use with my fisheye lens.
