This neutral gray filter, which darkens an incredible 10 f-stops, is visually and mechanically a masterpiece. The brass mount is unique, this filter won't eat into your lens thread as easily as many other filters with a light metal frame. This is a great sign of quality, although it also results in a higher weight, of course.

The glass is highly coated with several layers, which is why there are virtually no reflections, meaning that the image does not deteriorate noticeably when using the filter. That is also very good and is by no means self-evident with all filters.

The filter not only has great quality features, but also an eye-catching price. One requires the other. For the quality offered, the price is actually completely reasonable. If you need a neutral gray filter, you can also find what you are looking for from manufacturers of inferior filters for a tenth of this price. However, which quality you prefer is entirely up to your discretion.

In the past, I've taken nature photos in bright sunlight, especially with fairly cheap filters. This often led me to enjoy nature photos in these situations, as the photos often had a color cast, blur, etc. I was
therefore undecided whether I should even try out the K&F Concept filter, but then I gave it a chance and that was a good thing!

As soon as you unpack it, you notice that you are holding an absolute high-end product in your hands. The genuine leather case, the brass-metal frame, the filter itself, make you extremely (!) high-quality impression.
Thanks to the brass frame, the filter can also be screwed onto the lenses extremely easily.

The filter reduces light by 10 stops, so it is specifically intended for nature photographers who want to take landscape photos in bright light without deserted or “sunken” areas.
It also works great, without color strokes, color fringes or other imperfections. You don't “see” from the image that a filter has been used and that's the main thing. I've never had the luck with cheaper filters in the past.

The filter is super easy to screw on and off and does not affect the autofocus on my Canon R5 either. At least not when there is enough light, of course.

I'm really impressed and can say that with this filter, K&F Concept has completely eliminated my aversion to filters of any kind. Therefore 5 stars

This is a very nice high quality ND filter, as expected of K&F Concept. I'm using it with a Canon EOS 5D DSLR, and it is very fun to play with. I haven't used an ND filter like this before so I'm still learning, but you can definitely get some cool effects especially with moving water. The glass is high quality and the picture is sharp and clear. I have a couple of other K&F filters and this is just as nice to use as the others.

Both in terms of workmanship and the optical quality of the Nano-X Pro ND1000, I am absolutely convinced of this product, even though the price is of course accordingly. In return, however, you get an absolutely high-quality experience, from unpacking the product to the included case to the feel and quality of the actual product.

For long exposures without optically affecting the result, I strongly recommend a high-quality ND filter like this one. I've already used a number of other filters and can report that they have often affected my results. Of course, I don't want to make these filters absolutely bad, because especially in the beginning, you probably won't buy a filter in this price range. But once you've used such a filter, you also know why it costs more than the cheap models that you often find.

I bought the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series ND1000 77mm filter for my photography equipment and am impressed by the quality and performance of the filter.

The frame of the filter is made of high-quality brass material and features a CNC pattern design, which significantly improves hardness and flexibility. The installation was also very smooth and durable.

The ND1000 filter reduces light by 10 stops, allowing longer shutter speeds without a color cast or loss of image quality. The K&F Concept coating technology also gives the filter a very low reflectivity of 0.15%, which increases light transmission and reduces stray light and ghosting.

The filter also features a 36-layer double-sided nano coating that is waterproof, dirt-proof, and scratch-resistant, which improves the durability of the filter. The frame is also very thin and fits the lens well without creating dark corners when attached to wide-angle and telephoto lenses.

In addition, the filter comes with a high-quality leather storage bag, which is purely handmade and was specially produced for K&F Concept photographers. The flagship filter from K&F Concept meets the highest internal standards and offers excellent optical performance. The classic high-end design and exquisite workmanship make it a valuable addition to any photography equipment.

Overall, I would rate the K&F Concept Nano-X PRO series ND1000 filter with five out of five stars. It is of excellent quality and performance and offers excellent value for money.

I ordered this to add to my filter stack, as I didn't have a large ND1000 filter; I'm familiar with the K&F brand from other filters I've purchased as well as ones from Vine, and they've never failed to impress me with their quality. This one is their professional-grade one, so it might be a little more than an amateur needs, but I look at filters as a long-term investment since they can be used on any lens if you have the right step-up/step-down adaptors (though it IS best to stick to something close to your lenses' filter sizes to avoid reflections or vignetting).

The results I get with this filter are truly travel-mag worthy, perfect for tourism posters and large-scale art prints; waterfalls and streams flow beautifully, lakes appear like smooth satin even with some waves, clouds go perfectly streaky to give the sense of time passing, and it's possible to use a tripod and get photos of heavily-visited places during open hours without a lot of people in the finished shot. It's truly outstanding, even with my previous knowledge of the brand and the high expectations those experiences had generated!

ND filters darken the light without changing the color. This filter darkens light by 10 stops (which is the most effective for long shots in daylight).

The filter is heavy and extremely well made. It fits my Nikon prime lenses perfectly. This filter is very high quality and produces excellent quality pictures.

I love this thing. For a while now my wife has been claiming that her late model iPhone makes my camera redundant, what with all its magical camera trickery that can make any photo pop, but it's stuff like this that proves her wrong. We've just spent a week on Koh Samui visiting waterfalls in bright sunlight, and the results I got from this 10 stop ND filter were astounding. My long exposures blow all of her shots out of the water.

The filter is nicely presented and feels high quality. I've not noticed any distortions or odd colour casts. This is just a great filter.

Got this for my outdoor shoots. Gets the job done with no issues or X going across my photos. Highly recommend to anyone. I use these on both my tamron lenses.

Over the past year or so, I’ve tried maybe a half dozen K&F filters uniformly finding them to be among the best I’ve ever experienced. This high density ND 1000 has met my expectations of excellence that this brand has now established with me.

There’s little to say other than it’s thinner than other filters of any sort meaning it has less of a chance of creating unwanted refractions once mounted. Like all filters, it must be used alone. If added to an existing UV or clear filter many used as a lens protector, the two can and likely will work to degrade image quality. This refraction issue is a good reason not to mount the UV or clear filters as a lens protector. A lens shade works almost as well as a protector but won’t interfere with a filter.

In use, this ND 1000 does filter to 10 stops (eyeball estimate) without affecting the color or introducing other unwanted effects. Like so many things photographic, the good stuff costs but also performs.
