own four of these “older” versions of VND & CPL from K&F. I really liked the idea of going one step further with this “new” version. But I find that it's mostly unusable when you get close to the limit — at the strongest density. I noticed a large color shift at the corner that was affected by polarization. (Maybe it's not clear, but it kind of looks like heavy vignetting or the X we see on certain cheap VND) I think it's more noticeable on wide angle lenses. I still think this is a no-brainer for the cost, but in terms of ease of use I would stick with the first version (V1).

However, a sensible filter with 6 f-stops can be difficult to attach to the lens because I used a step-up ring.

Received the next day, I could quickly see that the product was very well made. The ring spins very well. Good hardware. On the other hand, I was not at all careful when buying it, but once I had it in my hands to test it, I realize that I can no longer put the sun visor on my Tamron 70-180 because the ring rotates due to the growths. It's a shame, because that's the type of filter we absolutely use because of too much sun...

The subject of shooting videos in full sun drove me crazy when it came to schedules, finding shade, etc. I got sick watching the videos of burned butts or raccoon eyes. While looking for video tutorials in full sun I saw these filters and after a test in which I saw how to use them for no less than 2 minutes, I managed to use both the camera (ZV-E10) as well as configuring the filter steps so that a video can be recorded in full sun in mid-June. Very satisfied, although more testing needs to be done to get the best out of it.

have a good set of NISI filters, but I find I use this one a lot more often. It's so much easier to use when you're on the go. I've been on a photography holiday in the west of Ireland recently and just kept this filter on my Z6 Nikon camera. The polarizer removed the washed out color of the sunny sky and sea. I used the ND filter for sunsets as I prefer not to have the full sun in the shot to avoid glare but still preserve the beautiful color of the sky. The filter leaves no color cast. I also found the filter to be very good at darkening waterfalls enough to create that nice smooth water effect.

It is very good, what I like the most is the ND function, the water remains silky without clogging at very low speeds. The polarizer not so much, I can't tell much of a difference, although the glitter eliminates it well, so far I haven't had the X effect.

Using the 77mm filter — from a videographer's perspective, here are my thoughts: Benefits: • Adjust exposure on the fly — I can adjust ISO, aperture value, and shutter speed while my subject goes into shade from direct sunlight using the orange Slide the controller. • I can adjust my ND strength while keeping my CPL in place. • Build quality feels great. • Great ND range for outdoors and sunny weather. • Works great with step-up adapters so I can use it on my smaller lenses. Cons: • I noticed some vignetting in certain lighting situations. • When adjusting the ND strength, the CPL filter is sometimes dragged and rotated. You can physically see the CPL rim rotating when you press the ND slider. Can be avoided by holding the rim while moving the orange slider. Would I recommend this product? Yes I would. I bought it for the floating ND slider that some other VND filters don't have. The ability to freely adjust the stops in sunny weather makes this product essential for my videography work.
