9" LCD Digital Microscope, 1000X Kentfaith Coin Microscope with 12MP Camera, Micro Welding Microscope for Adults, Wired Remote Control, Windows/Mac OS Compatible
SKU: GW45.0034
I couldn't have asked for more for the money spent. It is easy to use and offers a clear picture with many customization options. My only complaint is that the stand is a little unconventional, but it doesn't bother me enough not to recommend this microscope.

This microscope set comes for me to test.
If I had to describe it in one word, I would say amazing.
The last time I used a microscope was as a kid, back in high school.
The set is very exciting. Contains all parts as described.
At first we can use the samples from the kit, but we can scrutinize practically anything.
Videos and images can also be saved thanks to the memory card so that we can use them later.
We took a sample from the garden fountain and at 3x magnification were able to observe the movement of the tiny creatures. (see photo).
I checked one of my hairs to see how healthy it was. I also looked at this at 3x magnification and it was a very interesting sight.
This microscope offers endless possibilities.
It shows us a completely different world in relation to our existing ordinary world.
I really like.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found them helpful.

I've been using this for a few weeks now mainly for repairing/testing/troubleshooting circuit boards. It's my first decent microscope as I've mainly been using my now failing eyes (it's an age thing).
It was absolutely superb whether I use it on the monitor or the scope screen. The picture quality is really fantastic.
I find these are ideal for someone who has not used a trinocular microscope for this type of work. I got used to looking at the screen or monitor very easily without having to look at my hands and easily finding my way around the board while soldering.
I would say the only 2 negatives are the small base which isn't very heavy and really quite small. The biggest issue for me was the fact that you can't adjust the position of the lens back and forth horizontally towards and away from you. This can be a problem for larger boards if the vertical stand is in the way, there is a partial workaround in that You can tilt the lens backwards, but that only helps so much that I'm already finding a solution to fix this myself with a McBushFix (as my wife would say). As for the base, I'll just get a bigger one myself and make heavier ones big enough to mount my solder mat.

Had seen some reviews on YouTube. When unpacked, it looked a bit cheap. But functionally better than I thought. The amazing quality with the 12Mpix camera and lens isn't too bad either. The construction is simple and feels cheap, but in my first picture it doesn't compromise the functionality and quality of the image on the screen. Haven't gotten the videos and photos on the PC yet. It also works with a rechargeable/mobile battery bank so nice and versatile and a mobile setup is possible.
The magnification with a sharp image is so good in terms of resolution in combination with the lighting that, in addition to electronics, it is also suitable for biological and photomedical applications such as viewing and enlarging the skin. That surprised me a bit. The camera and lens can also be removed from the stand and can therefore be carried on the move. The image is more stable under a stand than in the hand, but solutions to this can also be devised with some Macguy pens.
Software is basic but the instructions in the manual are easy to follow.
The wiring was designed to be a bit awkward, but I understand the reason and functionality behind it. I think this could have been partially integrated with fewer cable hassles and vulnerable ports. But from a simplistic cheap architectural side I understand the logic.
I sometimes find the light too white. A warm white color would also have been nice to see true colors. The white light is sometimes overexposed. The light is strong, but it can be adjusted and the microscope ranking is dimmable.
I find all kinds of settings icons on the screen very annoying. It distracts from the picture. I haven't found a settings function to turn this off.
Points for improvement:
Actually pretty good for the price.
1. Mobile crafting with fewer cords
2. Warm light option for true-to-life images.
3. More megapixels. The more details are visible. The lens magnification is good but can optionally be a notch higher as a mountable accessory.
4. Software option to hide settings and clock and date from the screen.
5. Slightly more robust wheel. so I can make better micro adjustments with the focus/focus point of the lens. Things are going a little rough now. I believe this is due to the coarser plastic grooves. Perhaps a metal rail is a better option.
6. visible buttons on the screen. The function is plastic, so black on black, and therefore no contrast. If it was colored white, it was more visible. More contrast.

I got this microscope because I have three elementary school age children who are interested in science. I was thinking about buying a traditional microscope but didn't want them fighting over it (who gets to see etc.). So when I saw this type of microscope I was very interested to see how it would work.
First of all this is a real scientific instrument, it would be well suited in a school or laboratory setting or anywhere a microscope might be helpful.
The microscope is well designed, everything feels high quality (no issues). Overall the setup wasn't that bad, but the instructions could have been written a bit better.
Premade slides are included (which is a nice bonus). The design allows slides to be viewed via an included mount, or you can simply place an object on the platform itself (very versatile - see images). The screen is of good quality (like a tablet).
Considerations: My only issue is that once assembled it's pretty much stationary and not very portable. So if you're buying it for a home (like me) you'll want to be sure you have a place to leave it set up.
4 stars!

You get an impressive looking digital microscope, everything you need is included.
The screen feels a bit plasticky, as does the connection to it.
Includes a few lights that are really useful.
I've worked and repaired audio for 30+ years and circuitry is getting harder and harder to see and everything seems so small maybe because I'm getting older but I'm struggling to see surface mount bits.
This could be a useful addition to the workbench, the circuit board can go under the lens and it magnifies superbly, really clear, I can just about get an amp base underneath which is good, but there's not much working room when I'm doing this .
This is good for a lot of other things too, I'm a coin collector and it's amazing what I can see under the scope.

I use the microscope for detaching small circuit boards. Even SMD components can be easily displayed and soldered in or out.
It's a bit stupid that the microscope turns on immediately when plugged into a socket, even without using the switch, but then doesn't turn off anymore. If you forget to switch off, the battery can run out and all settings will be lost.

Anyone who is inexpensive and what makes a good impression (by my standards) is in the right place. It does what it should and the picture quality is also great. Of course, higher-quality devices can do more, but for private use it's a great thing.
It feels solid and I would buy it again and again.

love the picture quality. Just wish you could connect it directly to a PC to at least view files. It can be done with the included micro SD, but it's fiddly. Otherwise a great product and nice to have different lens options. Able to maintain a comfortable working height even with hot air tools in hand.

Cracking scope for micro soldering, very well made, huge working distance between lens and base, cracking display. The service from K&F Concept is amazing. I had a little hiccup with the stand and in 3 days they had sent me a new stand and a £50 refund for my problems. That's what I call service. Overall I am very satisfied. I've used optical scopes in the past, but as I got older my eyes started to focus on different points, making using an optical scope a pain.
