7 inch digital microscope, 50X-1000X Magnification, support HDMI output, metal stand, 12MP ultra-precision camera sensor, compatible with Windows/Mac
SKU: GW45.0033
This microscope is excellent. It's sturdy, well built and easy to use. I bought this for my 8 year old granddaughter for Christmas. she will love it She loves science. It has amazing clarity with or without using the attached lighting. I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed.

Getting a better, closer look at things is fun and educational. A microscope is designed for this. But a traditional microscope that we used in school (well, at least if you were my age) required preparing and mounting content on slides. Technology has given us great advantages and opened up our possibilities to expand our vision.
New digital microscopes like the K&F Concept also give us insight into three-dimensional objects.
I ordered the one with the largest screen to really see what that would do. I wasn't disappointed by the optics, but the stability of the device itself weakens the overall value.
The microscope comes with a set of slides and gives a feel for how much magnification the microscope can show. Something like this is probably the best use of the microscope.
You can also examine an object like a coin or something three-dimensional. You have to use the other lights to light it up from above. This is where shallow depth of field comes in, and you need to work on increasing it in focus.
The depth of field is very shallow. With two possible adjustments, it takes a bit of work to get your subject in focus. This is very noticeable in use.
I was trying to see if I could enlarge something like a slide, but the clamp handles were interfering with object placement. This could happen with any object that overlaps them: you can spend a little time attaching and detaching these if you're constantly switching between slides and 3D objects. Also, most of the slide content is lost through the round opening in the plate, so no, you won't be using it for photographic slides.

My husband often looks through a microscope because he makes miniatures as a hobby. He complains of neck pain when bending over. I got him this to ease the pain and he is happy. He also uses it for troubleshooting. It has 3 different lenses depending on what you want to watch, a very large 10" screen for multiple people to see at the same time, a remote control, an HDMI cable to connect your laptop or TV, and a bug box for glowing slides , adjustable/bendable lights with dimmers and a 32G memory card. Everything is very well thought out. I teach children and look forward to using this for some exciting STEM projects with them. The assembly is quite easy. Although the light is a bendable tube light and you can control the brightness, it still may leave a tiny slight blind spot due to the design of the lights. One thing I'm a little disappointed with is that it's compatible with Windows 7/8/10. Currently, Microsoft doesn't even support Windows 7 and 8. Also, Windows 11 has come out and I might switch to Windows 11 soon. Otherwise we love this digital microscope and are happy about the cool gadgets. The picture is absolutely top for my needs (soldering microscope and examination of the smallest electronic circuit boards), the two gooseneck lamps can usually also prevent annoying reflections, that's exactly what I wanted and what really inspires me. Even without a triocular, I get along quite well and have a certain feeling of three-dimensional vision (I also wear glasses and have poor vision on one side, so a stereo microscope doesn't offer me that many advantages).

I use it to display coins and such. It does a good job for that. I only wish you could lift the microscope higher than you can. I had a delamination problem with my first scope, so the seller promptly sent me a new one. I couldn't ask for better service.
