Use this adapter ring to attach my mother's 300mm lens to my Samsung nx. It's well made and feels very stable even after repeated use.

After an initial error from me, the adapter does exactly what is stated here. It connects my EF Canon lens to my Samsung NX500. Everything is tight and nothing wobbles. Since no data is exchanged between the camera and lens through the adapter, I had to switch off the automatic program. So take the knob off the automatic program. Focus and aperture must be set manually. Otherwise everything works perfectly.

Yes, you can use Canon EF lenses on Samsung NX cameras with this. But. Due to the principle, no transmission of metadata (aperture, etc.) to the camera, no possibility to change the aperture; Depending on the lens, not even the focus can be adjusted (which actually makes these lenses unusable) So: This adapter is a good one, but such adapters should be avoided if possible.

and suddenly, the little Samsung NX is being used a lot more now, before I only had a 16mm. I used it to photograph the moon, 600x1.5 (crop), without autofocus, with a tripod and magnifying glass to manually focus more sharply, very good results. Well, one thing that makes you wonder why you didn't buy it sooner... Nothing wobbles, even heavy lenses (2.5kg..) are held securely. It would have been better if there had also been lids, luckily I still had some left. That was!
