already had rings to use Canon FD lenses on my Mirrorless Samsung NX30 but I wasn't entirely happy with them... on a friend's suggestion I wanted to try them and I have to say that from a constructive point of view they are really well done . No mechanical play, the lens is firmly attached to both the ring and the camera body and not even the stop-down ring of the apertures (which allows you to set the aperture to the desired value) remains locked in the selected position. I ordered the adapter to continue using my original Canon FD lenses on a Samsung NX system camera. This works - with the well-known limitation that you have to operate the aperture and focus manually - perfectly. In contrast to a previously purchased adapter from another manufacturer (at twice the price), this part is slightly larger, but it fits very well and is well made. The adapter also has a ring that acts as a safeguard to prevent the lens from being accidentally released. Delivery took a week. I think that's acceptable for a delivery from abroad. I would buy the product again.

Hello everyone, since there are no reviews yet I thought I'd write one. The adapter arrived 4 days ago and was even faster than stated. So that's a plus point. Now to the adapter: It's just an adapter that allows you to attach the lenses to the Samsung (NX Mount). No electronic data is passed on to the camera or the lens! Which is also correct, since nothing else is advertised either. Workmanship: The entire adapter is made of metal and makes a stable impression. The EF / EF-S lenses are very tight and don't wobble. The mount for the Samsung bayonet has a very small scope that can be safely ignored. Detaching the lenses works without the lens getting stuck anywhere. Application: Since no electronic data is exchanged, focusing is done manually. The focus help on the Samsung camera is activated with the OK button (Samsung NX300M), a small image section is enlarged and the "sharp edges" are displayed using the focus peak. The aperture is either always the open aperture or you set it beforehand on the Canon camera (choose aperture, press aperture preview button, remove lens) A somewhat cumbersome way. It's definitely more fun with completely manual lenses like those from Samyang or Walimex. But if you are comfortable with working with an aperture, you can have a lot of fun. Tested lenses: EF-S 18-55mm IS II <- OK EF-S 55-250mm IS II <- OK EF 50mm f/1.8 II <- OK EF-S 10-18mm STM <- Doesn't work because manual focus only works with an electrical voltage Conclusion: The adapter does what it promises. You can't expect much for 17 euros. I will definitely use it more often. If you can overlook the hurdles (aperture, focus), this adapter is definitely recommended. This adapter is exactly the adapter I was looking for for my Samsung NX100 (which was bought for the body only) and as it was only bought as a 'throw in the bag' I didn't want to pay 10x the camera price for the right one Paying for the lens, so I got a Sigma-Z 1:2.8 f=24mm (FD) lens and then got this adapter to adapt it to my NX100. Now not all the settings work as needed to communicate with the lens but for a cheap metal adapter it works fine if you get the cheap lenses for FD

originally bought another adapter to attach a cannon lens to my Samsung camera but it didn't fit. So I tried this one and it fits perfectly and snaps in place easily. It's not electronically powered, so you'll have to shoot manually, which isn't a problem once you're used to it. This is great for being able to expand the lenses for Samsung cameras as they are limited in choices and sometimes a lot more expensive than looking for a used gun lens. I have not used this item extensively as the gun lens I bought is an old 300mm lens and I currently prefer a different lens. Hopefully in the future I can find a gun lens I like and be able to use this adapter again.

For the price this is unbeatable. The construction feels sturdy and of good quality. You have the option to use your other lenses, minus any lenses other than the base lenses. This does not change the aperture value and you have to focus it manually. I would give it 3.5 stars for these reasons, but it is what it is! No real complaints from me.

The adapter is of high quality and not made of plastic. Only the delivery time of 3 weeks is negative. I would buy again anytime!
