Screwing and unscrewing works easily. Used as a protection, even if there is disagreement about whether this makes sense or not. Since I don't want any accidental scratches on my lens, I put a UV filter on everything. Of course, that extra glass takes away some light, but it's very little. This is hardly noticeable in everyday photography. Am satisfied.

The overall quality of the filter is excellent. Great color and sharpness. No X pattern.

I bought this to use with a SmallRig filter holder which I bought unaware that it only works with magnetic filters. The filter part of the filter is fantastic and works exactly as it should. However, the magnet feels weak. I bought it to shoot videos at concerts, but I'll probably never use it for that because it feels like it'll fall off at the slightest bump. If you're using this in a controlled environment, I'd have no hesitation in recommending it.

The magnet system is just easier and faster to use when adding or removing filters. The glass seems to be of high quality and I really liked what K&F Concept did with these filters.
I love the MAGNETIC filter system. It is much easier and faster to change filters. I love the MAGNETIC filter system. It is much easier and faster to change filters. I'm really excited about these new filters that K&F is releasing. The magnetic filter system is a great idea for strong ND filters as I often have to compose my shot without the ND filter attached (because without it it's much easier to see through the lens) and then have to attach it to take the shot . Being able to easily snap the filter onto the front of the lens takes a lot of effort out of removing and reattaching the filter.

The optical quality is excellent, with excellent clarity and hardly any color cast. The processing quality of the metal rings is solid; They are smoothly machined with smooth edges and beautiful knurling. The rotating ND filter rotates smoothly, with hard stops at both ends of the spectrum so you'll know when you've reached the limits.

The magnetic attachment keeps the filter firmly in place, but is probably best used in controlled tripod setups where you know the lens won't be bumped. I definitely wouldn't use this in mass situations where someone or something might knock the filter off, as it wouldn't take much of a jab to make that happen.

No lens cap is included, presumably because the extra weight would make the filter too heavy for the magnets to comfortably hold. K&F makes a magnetic lens cap that I got with another K&F filter set, but it doesn't fit on the outside of the ND filter because the outer ring is larger than 77mm. However, the magnetic lens cap fits on the inner ring, so you can use it when you don't use the ND filter. As far as I can tell, you can't buy the magnetic lens cap individually, only in a bundle with other filters.

The quality of this filter is quite comparable to that of Tiffen. It's reasonably priced and I would definitely recommend it for tripod landscape photography.

I have a Black Mist Pro 1/8 filter that I use quite a bit, but wanted to try a 1/4 for a more pronounced "bloom" in conjunction with a dream sequence I was shooting. I have the K & F 1/4 Black Diffusion Filter for about 20% less than the cost of a Black Mist Pro so thought I'd give it a try. I have used K&F filters before and have always been happy with them, although they are perceived as lower quality filters by some "professionals". I'm happy to say that the K & F is just as good as the Black Mist Pro equivalent and achieves exactly the desired effect with no distortion or color cast. And if you consider the magnetic docking system, I would say that it's even better than the Black Mist Pro filter (this is the first magnetic filter I've used and I'm hooked). This filer is excellent value for money.

I have a long history of shooting with special effects filters. I've used Cokin systems where you can share a filter with different lenses using adapters. I own over 50 such filters and lately I've been simplifying my camera bag and traveling with just a few filters. My favorite filters are the Graduated Neutral Density (ND) filters. With these, I can rotate the filter to my liking for each shot. BUT it means I have to wear more than a pair of the same ND filter but on different stops.

Solution: The K&F Concept magnetic variable ND filter gives me the opportunity to use a filter that covers 5 stops within seconds. This is a great time saver as my landscape or sunset shots sometimes require quick image setup and adjustment to rapid light changes.

ND filters are an investment in your camera gear. These filter out very bright light and enable the photographer to take longer exposures in daylight. My favorite use of ND filters is to make water movement look silky while still capturing the surroundings in detail. This K&F Concept filter is amazingly well built. The glass is better than my cokins. Because it's built for specific lens size diameters, I had to rationalize which lens I used most often and order that size. 58mm in this case.

The housing is a worthy vault for this filter. Kudos to the team that developed this feature. The magnetic ring screwed well into my existing lens. In fact it screwed in too tight, it took me 10 long minutes to unscrew it later.

The magic is in the magnet technology. Wow! It was instant on and instant off for the actual ND filter. Great. With that comes the fear of dropping the filter. I'm afraid a bump will loosen it, so I kept my hand on the lens the whole time. If you're in a stationary environment, you should be fine.

This lens filter is a great tool for many future vacation shots. Easy to carry and use.

Note that you cannot place a regular lens cap over the ND filter. A pity.

Overall, I love the new direction these ND filters are taking. There is less effort and more time is spent on actually capturing images. Try it. I recommend this variable ND filter. 4.5 stars.

with the variable ND filters you have significantly better setting options than with fixed ND sizes.
The picture is evenly darkened, at least I can't see any gradients in my pictures.

For me as a hobby clipper, this is a cheap alternative to dive into the world of ND filters. You should only make sure that you use the scale on the filter, otherwise there are strange holograms, which the low price makes up for. Value for money is great here in my opinion.

There are reviews already commenting on how well they are doing so I won't repeat it just say it's a pleasure to take off and great quality. The ease of moving the ND filters mounted or not is great. Highly Recommended.
